Any of my PAL N64/SNES games because fucking none of the europoors bothered to buy anything until gen 6/7, making shit like even common NTSC titles hideously overpriced smh.
See StrarCraft 64 PAL. Fucking hell. One lucky SOB got it for 50 Euro on ebay a few years ago. That game is worth (cart only) around 3k Euro, boxed is 3.5, boxed w/ manual - up to 4k. Brand new could be in the high 5k's

-Grand Theft Auto Collectors' Edition (GTA, GTA II, GTA London) for PS1
-Thick Silver PS2.
-Halo 4 Limited Edition for '360. Absolute crock of shit that was.
-Fallout 4 Pipboy Edition for PS4
-Destiny Edition PS4 Console (bought it because it was the only white PS4 available and and the same price as the standard edition at the time)
Post pixxx of that GTA thing please. Sounds interesting.

To be honest, my most hated thing in CoD is the fact that they do not allow you to go anywhere.
I remember playing Advanced Warfare, Exposition stage (AKA level 1), I decided to see what is going on a side path, there seemed to be some soldiers there and some action - I go there and get insta-meme'd on and the game tells me "You left the mission area"

I don't even play COD, that was a request at work for research (I worked at Activision at the time).
I don't expect GTA or Skyrim level of openness, but can I not just go talk to people who are literally 12 meters from the current path? Apparently not. Not only is there no exploration - THE GAME KILLS YOU FOR TRYING TO LOOK AROUND!
Why are you expecting CoD to be anything else other than linear?
Liner is fine - but c'mon, I stepped away literally 10 meters. It also looked like I could just go there, its an open street with people around, I wanted to see what is going on there.  The artists and mappers clearly put effort into building an environment so I wanted to check it out - instead got taken straight out of the immersion and penalised for trying to feel more involved. I'm sorry for forgetting that COD is basically the player being a camera-man riding a mine-cart while shit is happening all around you.

You can make a game that looks like shit and play it on a 1070. It'll run better and have less issues, but it'll still look like shit if that's the artistic style.
Or do you enjoy your PC not being able work fast? Do you buy 20 year old computers because it's more authentic to use internet explorer on windows 95?
Super Smash Bros. Melee is one of my favorite games of all time, and one of my life goals is to learn how to play it competitively.
Since the game is so old, though, the most optimal way to play it competitively is to use a CRT rather than a newer HD TV. This is because the game wasn't made for HD, and as a result, if you try to play any older game on one, you're going to experience some input lag, among other issues--making the CRT better than the HD TV in these cases.
Old technology can be better than new technology.
That's because the game was made with inferior technology. If it was remade in HD it'd be gravy.
Unfortunately HD remakes are ruined because they change the art style for some reason every time. If they didn't, and just formatted it to play on modern shit, that's it. It'd be better.
actually crt has lower input response times than any modern TV
