The problem is that they expected people to play Destiny for three fucking years straight doing the same thing over and over again

And yet they keep playing.
Destniy is like that cancer trash mobile game where you have daily 'energy' and if you want to get shit done, you have to pay real cash. It plays on the human addictive psyche and exploits it. It rewards you just enough to keep you coming back for more. I went through the same grind in Defiance - but unlike (((Destiny))), Defiance is a F2P game with an actual story and characters. After a while, I got tired of it and just kept playing for achievements. They were relatively easy to get and some of them were even fun - until came the PVP achievements - FUCK the pvp in Defiance.

What is the situation like in your country? How long would it take to pay off your mortage?
Is renting okay? Rent is even worse - renting a room can be as high as 500 / 600 euro and you get fuck all for that money, probably sharing the house with 15 people.
