that's kind of petty that she told you she had sex. I'm sorry you're hurting. It's hard moving on and I wish I had advice, but I always had rebounds after break ups, so I'm not good at that kind of advice. I hope your heart heals quickly and you find a healthy way to cope.
She didn't just straight up tell me, I just guessed and she confirmed it. Was pretty obvious anyway Might have brought it on myself. I thought the date would just be a little thing but she ended up being away from chat the whole day, so it was obvious what happened. Spent a good while crying.
Don't focus on it. Cry it out if you feel like it, but I strongly advise you cut all contact. tell her not to contact you at all and you don't talk to her either.

I considered hurting myself to take my mind off things but decided against it
Go jog in the evenings and maybe go out with a close friend?

The best thing to do is cut all contact as soon as you break up. Imagine that person is just gone.
Now just reflect on what you did wrong and what you did right, work on yourself a little and start dating again. Get on Tinder and maybe you will find someone better.
Long distance pretty much never works out. Trust me man. Also if that was your first love, it will hurt the most - cut all contact and think about your own life for now.

I wonder if some 🅱esticles will be banned from positing on 🅱.net because they didn't pre-order Destiny 2 yet... Sorry, only people who have zero respect for their own money can post on this forum.

Death is part of life. Just accept and move on. A person keeps living in your thoughts and heart anyway.
They wouldn't want you to suffer like this either, so just move on and live your life.

That being said though, a PC is a pretty big purchase. It's something you'll use a lot and presumably not just for playing a handful of games. The difference in quality of parts (noise levels, power consumption, built quality, durability), performance (loading times, FPS, lag, speed of games and everyday tasks) and lifespan (how long you'll continue to be able to run "recent" software) is pretty huge between a $250 PC you salvaged together and a $500 one. It is of course your choice, but because a PC is never just a small purchase and you'll probably want something that'll last you quite a bit, you might want to consider saving up a bit more and go for a better computer altogether.
If you are going PC - you might as well go for the absolute MAX'd out specs. Why would you build one that is just on par with a console? You will be forced to upgrade if you want to play more recent games.
You will struggle to even get a "PC master race"-tier PC for 500. For 200 you can maybe some 32-bit motherboard with an integrate GfX card and the power supply is a phone charger with a 12 Amp fuse. Build a case from a cereal box (endless customisation options there) and you probably don't have enough money left for a keyboard mouse and monitor so you have to steal them from your school. Pirate Windows XP, and use your smartphone as a HDD.
After all that, you get home, plug in your beast, wait for the 512k RAM to boot up your BIOS, GRUB your pirated WinXP, load up YT and tell everyone in the comments that you are a member of an elite club.
Is this pasta
No, feel free to spread it though.
Some points are exaggerated obv, but they are not far from the truth.
I liked the welding bit more than the cereal edit you made.
The welding one is something I have been thinking about for a while now. If you have your own tools, you can make some dank designs which would meet YOUR requirements.

Rage - I know it looks simplistic in the main menu, but in-game it looks slick and intuitive Quantum Break and Wolfenstein The New Order both have nice consistent aesthetics.

So you are obviously looking for used parts.
check your local flea market or keep an eye out for garage sales. For the case - do you have any aluminium plates lying around? Just weld together your own. Drill a bunch of holes for ventilation and to hold the components together.
Do you have an old PC? Re-use some guts from that. Do you know a friend who is selling shit, can they give you a friend discount? What if you give them a handy under the staris at school?
This thread is mainly why I never got to build a PC.
I never have the capital / patience to save up for a PC that would be able to play modern games. You need to save up for a few months to buy all the stuff you will need and by the second month, I look at the amount of money and think - all of this cash just to play fucking games a few hours per week?
But then there are some tools I want to use like advanced mappers and 3D modellers, but you need a good GfX card for that and 8+ GB of RAM. Ugh, I need a car...

Made by request for a friend.
All those hours in forge have paid off. Great looking set.
So it turns out it didn't record the five minute flythrough like I thought it did.
I might just do a compilation of my forge stuff later. I did a sweet looking armoury last night.
Also somewhat related but I'm working on a remake of War Games from Titanfall right now. Even managed to get the simpod intro cameras working depending on team, so that's cool.
Do you work solo or you have a few helpers?
