There is knowing how to drive and then there is passing the test. There is no recording of it, so if you want to dispute the outcome its your word against theirs. Your instructor can be dick too by making you follow a difficult route. They could also fail you if they felt you were too fast or too slow. Basically what one tester might feel to be fast another might feel alright with.

How confident do you feel going 120kph on the N-roads?
I was totally sober and nervous AF. Couldn't sleep the night before. Finglas has a 50% fail rate and I really didn't want to have to do it again. Ever. Finglas is basically a suburb, so the main issue are parked cars on either side of the road that you have to be minful of. The roads are very narrow and there are a lot of turns. This helped me a lot: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD643D4AB43D260B7I got the car and was driving it all around for about 4 months. No L plates. I think driving around busy city center streets was a big help.
