Sucks, but the good thing about Bionicles was that even if you couldn't buy the more expensive ones, nothing stopped you from making your own to up the scale. As a kid I had my own universe of unique characters and stories that I'd always come back to whenever I played with them. I basically had a giant-ass narrative from my first Bionicle to my last.
Lol I used to have my own little universe too. The bionicles were paired along with similar sized digimon action figure toys and every single character had dragonball z level powers. was sick
