Notice a lack of Hulk. There's talk that Planet Hulk (and WWH) being a plot line in future movies. Like Civil War is on Cap 3.
Apparently Planet Hulk is playing out over Thor: Ragnarok and a few other movies. Universal has the right to individual Hulk movies, so this is Marvel's way of saying "fuck you".

Also has somebody figured out Bayonetta's matchup yet? Every video I've seen makes me think she's a cheap character with multiple early KO combos, on top of her already janky play style.
I do lots of shield camping, punish the side b once that last kick ends, and bait out witch time.
Also if you want to be able to accidentally hit witch time and not get upsmashed for free, stay pretty high in the air. If you are on battlefield's highest platform then upsmash can't reach you from the ground, the other platforms are reachable though. And don't get witchtimed offstage for god's sake.

It seems like there is a mutual interest with the current girl I'm aiming for. The downside is she's moving away, so it'd be a bit of a long distance thing. Not terribly far, but far enough visiting one another would take some planning. This is assuming all goes well and things go this course, but first impressions seem like we click pretty well. Only okay? Not great? Then she needs a new man.

Sure there would have. I have no doubt there are some folks here who still don't realize the "banner" changes when you click those 4 tiles beneath it, and this argument is nothing new.
I'll admit that the fader design is subpar. It's an old javascript swapper I built several years ago that needs to be updated, but the fader/slider itself is not a poor idea. We just need more "stuff" to happen.
Then make more stuff happen, or remove the function. As of now it's pointless and your justification for it is null as stuff does in fact not happen.
Anarchy weekend and mod/monitor applications don't count? I would be more than willing to add one to rotation if there's a tournament or event going on in #gaming; all anyone has to do is send me the banner and the link.
I can sort of respect you sticking to your guns even when you're wrong, but removing that slider would unbalance the front page. A logo would be redundant. Adding a smaller banner makes it feel unlike a homepage and more like a sub page.
Most sites use a slider or featured spot on their home page. Basically everyone knows this. Removing it is not a good idea and it will never happen.

Anarchy sure does count, but I don't really see the point in still having it up and clickable weeks after the fact, when the event itself only lasts for a weekend.
A slider is a great idea, I'm not protesting that. What I'm saying is that it's redundant if there's nothing relevant to show.
As of now it's kind of a meaningless function - and there's two ways to solve that problem. Either remove the function which really has no purpose - or make it relevant, by creating events.
You're the admin and community manager, if you don't create these events, then who will?
...creating events? What? If there is a tournament or contest or whatever, PM me and let me know and I'll add it. I won't make up bogus events just to keep the rotation fresh.
My point is that the rotation function is 100% unnecessary. If you're not planning to make it relevant by making events, than why even have it up at all?
You keep saying that it would be useful if there was content, but there isn't any.

Just curious, what exactly is so bad about Amiibo?
It mostly seems like an inconsequential feature, and obviously doesn't have the impact Nintendo were hoping for. Mostly just seems like they're just shipping games with Amiibo support because they built a fucktonne when they were certain it would be a popular feature, and had no choice but to try and sell them because they lost money in the build and need to make it back. Let's not forget that some of the figures are just visual abominations.
