Just a thread about astronomy and such with sites and other things that can give a small interest to astronomy to you guys. I'm bored, so let's start this off, shall we? I will provide you guys with some sites (space exploration related that provide pictures and info to space objects), some software to help map the stars so you can one night look up and say "Oh, that's Jupiter right above me!", and a few other things. From plans for many types of missions to be announced, to the phases of the moon, these websites do give a good understanding of what we are capable of. Just a quick look around can take you to new stuff you may have never seen before. SoftwareStellariumNEAVE Interactive Sky MapThis is free software you can download on your computer. Useful with a telescope. What this software is is essentially a tool to help you find Messier Objects in the night sky, planets, and even stars. Reliable and easy to use, Stellarium is a great tool for anyone to use. It comes with many useful tools to aid in planning and the like. Feel free to give it a download and mess around with it. NEAVE is a website that holds a skymap right on your browser. Really simple and all you really need is where you live. Skip through times to see where objects will be during certain times of days and such. If you don't feel like downloading something, use this. It's simple and nicely made. Any ideas to add on this thread would be appreciated and I can update it. Right now I'm a little busy with some school work, but hey, hope this helps a bit in wanting a little more knowledge of stuff. I plan on expanding this much more as time goes by.

I was doing front counter and after a small rush hour I did my work. Like 20 minutes after that I get told by a manager to meet up with some others. My first thought is "wut i dun deserve a raise fuck you", while walking to them. I sat down and apparently I got a complaint about making a "smart comment" about an overweight little girl and when the mom and daughter went home the girl cried about the comment I supposedly made. The woman never got my name since I didn't wear a nametag and never said what I said.
So it wasn't an official warning and my managers said I was good so nothing to worry about! Hooray for fat fucks trying to ruin the day. Hopefully whoever made that smart comment changed the child sea orca's life to be not fat.

Seems like the economy is getting a little better now, or because I have experience. Working at a good gas station seems like fun, and them checks my sister always talked about every week sound promising. The pay won't be too different honestly, just a quarter or two difference from minimum wage.
Should I go for it, Flood, or should I wait for another job opportunity? I'll call after this class ends.
