I have done very little thinking into the issue of gun control, for some reason. That being said, it seems very obvious to me that guns should not be publicly available under any circumstances. I can't really think of a good reason to have a gun.
Somebody critique me.
Personal liberty and home security
Personal liberty is the worst reason.
To you, some people actually still value the concept of personal liberties
"Personal liberty" honestly sounds like a reason people give when there is nothing else for them to use.
"Why should we make heroin use legal? Personal Liberty!"
Yeah someone should be able to do whatever they want as long as its not infringing upon another's rights. Really don't see what's hard to understand about that. What gives you the right to tell someone to not use heroin?
The fact that I'll likely end up paying for his medical issues stemming from heroin use, his time in jail from heroin use, or the fact that it's absolutely moronic and does little to help him without issues he actually is having.
None of that gives you the right. If he wants to inject himself with a lethal substance he has that right as a human being. I bet you want to make suicide illegal too don't you?
Suicide doesn't end in me having to pay for his hospital bill, so no. I don't care.

Nothing at all. No form of consensual sex is morally wrong if you're using protection.
Cue Engrapadora
Animals can't give consent
My dogs paw print doesn't count as consent? Fuck.

misconception
Not while the Brady Campaign is around.
What, exactly, is so bad about the campaign?
Championed the FAWB
Indifferent on this Worked to block the implementation of a law that allowed CWL/CCP holders to carry in national parks. Serves as the political activist voice for the most anti-gun people in America
Fair enough Pretty sure they also tried to sue the company that sold James Holmes the magazines and ammo that he used in his shooting. That got thrown out of court pretty fast as it had no legal basis. Did the company complete all necessary actions including background checks, yada yada?

I might agree if "conservative" wasn't synonymous with "raging fucktard" these days.
Research does show that an increase in age coincides with a higher degree of conservative thought. Mostly in the economic sector, but socially as well.
At the same time, many who are millennials and those born starting after the mid 1980's are far more liberal than the prior generation, which could impact views later in life.

I must say that I love that we are paying our Congressmen to tweet out prayers, instead of looking for solutions to address the issues.
GG America
Prayers actually work tho. Politics don't.
Yes - prayers after Newtown stopped the next mass shooting, which stopped the next, and so on.
Whether you are trolling or not, beliefs like this are backwards and do not help solve any problems.
God has a plan.
Yes - 20+ dead children, a couple dead Marines here and there, some dead university kids I'm sure. And like I said, congressmen do nothing except vote. Any research they would want done would be completed by outside sources.
Research that has already been done, time and time again.

Is that in reference to public, private, or both types of loans? Both, IIRC.
I'd like to see the source.
WSJ actually had a piece on it pretty recently.
Is there a way around the pay wall?

I feel like this thread is going to end badly.
Other than that, attempting to generalize political beliefs in one simple quote is a terrible idea.

For a freshman level paper, I'm assuming your professor doesn't expect some lofty, ten page argumentative thesis about some obscure topic. You'd be fine to stick to the common topics (Marijuana legalization, death penalty, etc.), so long as you form an argument that is somewhat original (For marijuana legalization, you have the ability to cite Colorado now, unlike years past).
Or you could even do something as basic as "Is the ESRB crucial to the gaming industry"
Thinking about it now, maybe I might do the death penalty. I'll think about it
Thanks
Just make sure your argument is your own with a topic like the death penalty - don't just go and say "It's bad, mk?" Take a stance - maybe you feel it's bad for all but convicted terrorists, or you feel that it needs to be used only in times of extreme certainty in verdicts. If you don't support it, give reasons like faulty convictions leading to innocent lives lost.

There are sone subjects like abortion and religion and whatnot that I want to avoid due to my mom possibly reading it
Unless you're a scholar, never go into abortion or religion. Death zone for an argument paper.

Bananas are better than apples. Prove me wrong fgt.
Unfair argument when the orange comes into play.
Good thing we didn't include oranges. Delicious little orbs of fruit goodness.
A good argument always makes mention to other key players.

I'd like to see the source. It's actually quite an interesting graph; a lot of the reduction in poverty has come from (as you say) people being born into capitalist nations, but there has been genuine development since the 1970s in both China and India which has been responsible for the genuine decline of poverty. Even if this kind of "genuine" development hadn't occurred, we would still find ourselves in a world with an economic system capable of sustaining living standards unimaginable only a century ago.
The stubbornness of the 'bottom billion' mostly arises from population growth in Africa.
Interesting

Actually you'll be getting a bunch of users because of Bungie forcing users to have a Destiny linked account to fix the 'alt problem'. Aka killing off The Flood at Bungie.net. So now people there are advertising this site.
The only complaint I noticed is people seeing no mobile app.
Unfortunately, Cheat's the only one who is working on coding and the like for the website at the moment. Designing a mobile app is too much.
