Lime... cordial...

I don't understand.

It's like lemonade, but made with limes if I remember correctly.

It's not fizzy
Lemonade isn't fizzy.

Isn't it?

It can be, but typically homemade lemonade isn't
Where the fuck crazy kind of fucking gookland do you live in where they have carbonated fucking lemonade?

Actually, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret here: there are no facts.

Everything is just opinion, sometimes people share them widely, but the scientific method dictates that as long as there are tests that can be performed, nothing is fact.

"Parallel Universe" is a poorly coined phrase more correctly meaning "Parallel Reality"

Considering that Universe entails all there is to entail by definition, any idea of a multiverse more correctly falls under the idea of multiple realities branching out across higher dimensions within a single universe.

Poor nomenclature shouldn't be deterent of good science.

That being said ,any claim that the extraneous realities do not exist is based on observational positivism, a practice which once cemented the idea that the world was flat and the earth was the center of the universe as fact.
Notice how to salvage an apparently meaningful question out of the OP you have to reverse engineer what he said and try to tell me he really meant something else, and again carelessly throw words around without knowing what they mean.  You have chosen to call what I referred to as a universe a reality now, so I would correctly restate "things not present in your notion of a reality do not exist by definition".

The flat earth bit is a creative line of thinking but you're conflating the notion of "has been perceived" with "can be perceived".  (People used to think the earth was flat merely because they hadn't been exposed to empirical evidence otherwise! / People think only this reality exists merely because by definition there can be no empirical evidence otherwise!) Alternate realities cannot be perceived by definition.  If they were perceivable the wouldn't be "alternate" realities, they would be reality.
I didn't have to reverse engineer it at all, I explained the real meaning of a common misnomer.

Anyway, your notion of reality is not all encompassing, in fact, your observational limits do not even fully envelop all which you include in your reality.

But you can carry on with your observational positivism, just do so after answering the OP.

The Flood / Re: Do you think that there's a parallel universe where...

Except the notion that parallel universes do not exist on any meaningful level is merely your opinion.

Occurrences in this universe could easily be affected by actions in other universes, giving meaning to the existence of that universe from our point of view.

Of course, if you simply meant to say they do not exist at all, that too is merely your opinion.
Things not present in the universe do not exist by definition.  If you've got a creative way to define existence not in terms of the universe than the onus is on you to do so, and failing to do that you will continue to be speaking nonsense.
You have a very three dimensional understanding of what a universe is.

Until we can devise a method to test for the existence of these alternate realities, the scientific method compels us to accept that it is equally possible that they both do and do not exist.

Ergo any speculation on the matter is permissible.

Now stop trying to be coy and tell us, do you think that in one of these realities you are a Ugandan official named shauqhbob?

parallel universes do not exist in any meaningful way and asking about one is inherently nonsense
Opinion detected
It's not an opinion, this is how words work.

Either:
1) The OP just asked me whether or not I thought a thing that doesn't exist exists.
or
2) The OP has redefined existence for the purposes of this thread and not explained how.  Until OP elaborates on what it is he's talking about (nonsense), no one can meaningfully answer his question.

I was on the elliptical at the gym  when I decided to watch fox news.

I was so stricken by the idiotic fecal sentences they strung together that I was done on the elliptical in no time at all.

You're in your 40's, correct?

How does it feel to watch the newer generations behind you descend into extra special retardation, and that these people are our future?

Turned 40 this past July.

Meh, they said the same about us X'ers. The WWII generation said it about the Boomers.

The only advice I would give is:

Stop taking pictures and video of the shit you guys do. It ONLY becomes People's Exibit A
I'm proud to say that neither I nor my friends are those kind of people.

I have four credit cards, and they're all maxed out.
Off topic here, but one of the biggest differences I'm noticing between you and I as far as the homeless situation goes is that I didn't get myself into any debt or make stupid financial decisions. If I didn't have money for something, I didn't buy it. No loans, no credit cards, nothing. The only people I owe are people who did me favors (give me a couch to crash on, take me to lunch, pick me up when I couldn't use the bus, etc), and they just want me to pay if forward someday.
Actually my mother.maxed most of mine out on hotel rooms and the rest of my debt comes from early termination fees from my last apartment and medical bills.

The last I maxed out bailing myself out of jail, for something I really didn't do in the first place.

I have by no means been living frivolously, in fact I can't remember the last time I bought something other than gas or food.

No, its February 12th.

That one poster just says Valentines day to trick girls into seeing it with the man.
