I'd like to remind everyone that Michael Keaton killed pretty much everybody he fought.
He blew them up and lit them on fire with rockets and threw them off of tall buildings, or he ran them over with his car. I like that they didn't use the watered down Wonder Woman who only uses her lasso of truth, she's best as a warrior who's not afraid to cut her opponents down, and I guarantee that after Superman drove that African warlord through a concrete wall he did not survive. In all this is a Justice League who is willing to kill their enemies, though I have strong suspicion that the Flash will have qualms with it. 5793

He'll have a different appearance and set of powers than the one we saw in BvS 5796
The Flood / Re: BvS was enjoyable despite what critics have been saying (spoilers)« on: March 28, 2016, 05:40:52 PM »Doomsday is some sort of Kryptonian-genetic engineered experiment gone wrong. When he gets killed, he comes back to life and is resistant to whatever killed him.The original story is that a group of Kryptonian cultists foresaw Brainiac's arrival on Krypton, and engineered a mutant soldier to stop him. The Krytonian government dismissed Brainiac as hogwash, but the Doomsday Cultists knew their prophecy would come true, and proceeded in secret without adequate funding or professional help from the Guild of Scientists. They were unable to control the monster they created, the Doomsday Monster, and it was destroyed by General Zod, and the remains were disposed of off planet. Brainiac did come to Krypton and they were defenseless, General Zod managed to evacuate the aristocracy of the capitol city, Kandor, before Brainiac stole it and shrunk I down to keep as a trophy. Then, so that he would have the only access to Kryptonian culture and knowledge in the universe, he set off the chain of events that would ultimately destroy the planet. You would think after the council had been wrong about Brainiac they might listen to Non and Jor El, but they instead had Non lobotomized and you know the rest. Doomsday came to Earth, I believe pursuing his original purpose, to kill Brainiac, who was being held prisoner by Superman for trying to repeat the events of Krypton in Earth. Of course, Doomsday was just going to kill everything, because he has no concept of discretion, so Superman had to stop him. 5797

Yes, the Armored Man was the Flash, if the lightning bolt on his chest wasn't enough proof, you'll note he was played by Ezra Miller, the actor cast to portray the Flash in 2018's "The Flash", and also the blur in the convenience store footage.
Doomsday, in my theory, was a gargantuan monster because human cells are not as robust as Kryptonian cells. Consider Doomsday a human body trying to contain all of the power of a Kryptonian. This doesn't really explain why he was able to absorb all forms of energy, not just radiation. 5798

Neither has any prep time, and all semblance of conscience has been removed.
One must kill the other, and both are trying. Neither has access to disciples, both are unarmed, and the arena is a completely flat, very wide space. Who wins? 5802

How are we going to mend the current state of the universe?
Bruce's visions are bound to come true, to the point that the Flash was trying to reach back in time to have him fix it. One reviewer I read was being critical of Bruce's reasoning for assembling the other Metahumans at the end of the film. "Just a feeling." They were raving about how nonsensical this was, because they failed to identify that the Knightmare sequence was the world's most blatant foreshadowing. Seriously, they're hitting you over the head with it. Do you think the universe will progress to that point, or will the Flash successfully return to save Lois from whatever fate awaits her and prevent Superman from becoming an warlord in a storyline that pays homage to Injustice? 5804
The Flood / Re: Problem with Man of Steel« on: March 28, 2016, 02:35:55 PM »I'm watching it now for the first time. Clark's father just died.Man of Steel, in my opinion, is the definitive Superman film. The Reeve movies were full of inconsistencies and convenient plot happenstances, not to mention unexplainable actions and ridiculous all around bullshit. And don't even get me started on Superman Returns. The only reproachable thing about Man of Steel is its very much Elseworlds, but that shouldn't be considers a bad thing. 5807

The Flood / Re: Problem with Man of Steel« on: March 28, 2016, 12:29:28 AM »Snyder's dream sequences in Man of Steel and BvS are just not done wellI thought they were fucking 10/10 in BvS. Bruce's dreams, or rather, visions, foreshadow an impossibly tall conflict coming, and puts Superman right in the middle of it. Probably the most effective storytelling in the series to date. 5811
The Flood / Re: Problem with Man of Steel« on: March 28, 2016, 12:21:14 AM »
The flaw in BvS was definitely a complete lack of logic behind the villain's motives.
Spoiler Why would Lex make Doomsday to kill Superman, when Doomsday would just turn around and destroy the world? Like, seriously, Lex was a cheap TDK Joker knockoff. Nobody seemed to be motivated by anything. I absolutely love The Flash though. I give the film a perfect 5/7 just on that. 5812

A stable, content person would look at the person smoking crack and feel sympathy. Someone down on their luck, who is in a bad place. They wouldn't make any character assumptions or look down on him. And they certainly wouldn't hate him, or think of him as a "lousy crackhead".Being insecure about yourself isn't good or bad, it affects no one.Of course not, judging others means that you're insecure about yourself. Then it's good to be insecure about yourself. 5818
