I think the superman who comes back is going to be very different from the superman they put in the ground.

Snyder's dream sequences in Man of Steel and BvS are just not done well
I thought they were fucking 10/10 in BvS.

Bruce's dreams, or rather, visions, foreshadow an impossibly tall conflict coming, and puts Superman right in the middle of it.

Probably the most effective storytelling in the series to date.

The flaw in BvS was definitely a complete lack of logic behind the villain's motives.

Spoiler
Why would Lex make Doomsday to kill Superman, when Doomsday would just turn around and destroy the world?

Like, seriously, Lex was a cheap TDK Joker knockoff.

Nobody seemed to be motivated by anything.

I absolutely love The Flash though.
I give the film a perfect 5/7 just on that.

That's neat, me and the boys used to shine up honey mixed with water instead of corn mash and let me tell you that shit would kick you in the dick, steal your wallet, and your shoes, and then you'd say thank you.

My father works at a local distillery and returns with 196 proof, neutral spirits. It either derives from cane sugar or high wine.
Mix that shit with egg nog.

I call it an evernog.

If you look at a drug addict, and immediately look down on him and judge him, that's a character flaw on your part.
Why is it a flaw to be intelligent, and to be aware of your own intelligence?

You will always be wrong on this.
It's called hubris, ya dip.
It's called hubris isn't actually a flaw, you dip.
Hubris is the original flaw.

Of course not, judging others means that you're insecure about yourself.
Then it's good to be insecure about yourself.
Being insecure about yourself isn't good or bad, it affects no one.

Judging people, while making you look insecure, is also just a bad thing itself.

but here's the thing. just because you judge someone on something doesn't mean you're insecure about that particular thing.

like for example. i see someone smoking crack. i think they're a lousy crackhead. i'm not gonna have an inner debate with myself about if i'm not good enough because i dont smoke crack.
Not about that particular thing, just in general. A stable, content person would look at the person smoking crack and feel sympathy. Someone down on their luck, who is in a bad place. They wouldn't make any character assumptions or look down on him. And they certainly wouldn't hate him, or think of him as a "lousy crackhead".

If you look at a drug addict, and immediately look down on him and judge him, that's a character flaw on your part.
Damn Daniel, back at it again with the deep shit.

Shit like this is the reason why kids these days are going to grow up being easily offended.

Thanks a lot parents.

I can understand their outrage. The film is extremely graphic.

Picture the following scenario:

It's late afternoon on Easter Sunday at a family gathering. Most of the festivities have ended; the parents are winding down and talking amongst themselves, and have called the children inside, seeing as they're too tired to watch them play outside. To keep the children occupied, they tell them to turn on the television and watch something; there's probably a children's Easter special airing at the moment. The children turn on the television, and are greeted by extremely graphic and disturbing scenes portraying rabbits being slaughtered in extremely gruesome ways. These children, who could be of any age, are of course scared by this. That's why parents are angry, it's not a case of people being overly-sensitive, at least not in my opinion.

I say good that this got aired either way. Children need the early introduction to grim reality before its too late.

I've seen Watership Down when I was young, really sad and disturbing yes, but in the long run it pretty much shows the grim side of life, not everything is all happy and colorful.
Slow down there, buster.

Sure kids don't need to be illusioned, but there's no reason to show them graphic materials.

Would you justify showing young girls rape pornography to scare them away from stepping out of their homes at night?

Well no confidence for the bar again tonight. I'm seeing BvS by myself tonight. Maybe they'll be someone cute there. Everyone stare at the loser who goes to the movies by himself
I go to movies by myself all the time, its not an event that requires you to socialize, like going to a bar or party.

You only need someone else if you're:
A) Trying meet new people.
B) Trying to get laid.

Here's a tip if there ever was one:

Don't go alone.
Bring a wingman, hell, bring an entourage.

People wanna be around someone having a good time, not somebody drinking alone.

If you don't have anyone you could bring with you, stop looking for a girlfriend and make some actual fucking friends.

Hoes come and go, but homies go to hell together.
my only friend is practically married and lives two hours away with his girlfriend. Neither of us want to put in he effort to meet one another.
Yeah, I know, now stop bitching, pull your pants up, and make some new friends.

It's not hard, I do it damn near every day.

I would say so.  My profile picture symbolizes myself.  The dark clouds overhead are like the shroud that follows me irl, representing the dark events in my life.  The bright horizon represents my bright future - slowly approaching.  The forklift in the forefront is a metaphor for my character.  An underappreciated, poorly recognized uplifter.  My duty is to raise others.

Unless you're talking about the prequel Injustice comics. Then I'm alright with that.

I'm still hoping that the Justice League movie is a new take on the Flashpoint Paradox, which will fix all of WBs mistakes.
Then they're just going to be a rip of DoFP.

If they do Flashpoint it's not going to be until Flash 2, sometime after 2020, and they probably aren't going to change the universe, since in Flashpoint everything goes back to normal.

It would be an interesting take on it though, if this universe was the alternate one Flash comes from the main timeline and corrects everything, that could work in the JL film, but I guarantee that's not the direction they're going.

I got carry-out from an Iranian place, which was nice.
What did you eat?

Tadigh with ghormeh and tu por.
Ghormeh sabzi or what?
I feel like making fun of you but then I remember that I unironically know what Moo Goo Gai Pan is, and I dunno I guess it just becomes okay.
Make fun of me why?
"Ghormeh" literally just means "stew" in Farsi. So I don't know if you're claiming I'm ignorant or what.

He said he ate stew, I'm asking what type of stew exactly.
Yeah, I was gonna call you a sandnigger but then realized I unironically munch on weebshit.

get an sd card
Just get an SD card for your phone.

My phone doesn't have an SD card port. It has a microSD card slot, but that's already in use.

Quote
You can probably pick up an 80 GB iPod classic at Gamestop, people sell them all the time, and while interface isn't that sophisticated, it's the same superior audio quality we've come to expect from all of apple's shiny new thousand dollar toys.

Good idea. I don't really care for sophistication. I just want to have some visual representation to what I'm listening to.
Already I'm use?

Just back up the files on the one you're using and upgrade it.

My phone comes with a base storage of 8GB, but with card its at 72GB

But yeah definitely go for an iPod Classic over that option if you can find one at Gamestop.
