When people confuse objective with subjective, drink.
the people who you think do this don't actually do this

the people who you don't think do this actually do it
I concur

people who use objective as an affirmation for their point do so hyperbolically
people who use objective to qualify something as absolute likely don't understand the nature of booleans

Maybe from face value the SJWs would have a point, but ffs there's some heavy context and a lot of additional material to this fucking case. I honestly don't believe she wants to know what it's like to be normal, I think she just appeals to the sentiment on the basis that she's sick of her ostentatious family. That's not a desire to have been like everyone else, it's a desire to distance yourself from a poisonous element in your life. That's an understandable sentiment, but she misrepresents it to herself, and fools herself, or in the very least everyone else, into believing she wants to be normal, and in a way that is a little shallow.

The truth of this is somewhere in the middle of what is presented, what the right thinks, and what the left says.

He was the only somewhat-okay thing about the movie and even then it was mediocre. I think he did the best he could with what he was given. This was just a flop waiting to happen regardless of who the lead was.

And the thing is, with all the terrible decisions the studio made, having Tom Cruise was the smartest thing they could have done. "Muh foreign market!"

Looks like Tom Cruise really fucked Brendan's franchise up.
It's a meme don't overthink it.

You think Legacy is your ally?

I was born in Dominaria.
Molded by it.

I didn't see the Mending until I was already a man, and by then, it was nothing but blinding.
And now it's a wasteland, just like Legacy

I legit know someone who wants to be a pro tier legacy player and he's the biggest loser I have ever met.

Key difference is that while a show like Breaking Bad might employ violence to further the plot/characters, it's never glorified or glamorized. The violence is always presented in a negative light.

Your avatar straight up romanticized graphic violence against the president. Apples and oranges.
i mean i explained rather plainly how it didn't, and nobody disagreed but you
lmao is the fallacy crusader literally trying to say might makes right
...no?

"might makes right" is probably the dumbest aphorism in the entire book

the argument that you THINK i'm making is actually an argumentum ad populum, appeal to majority

but i'm not arguing from that, i'm simply pointing out that the majority of people disagree with you
Might makes right is argumentum ad populum, just worded in a less pretentious way. And you literally just made that argument lmao, "pointing out" something is making an argument.

Again, why does it matter if I'm disagreed with? That has no bearing on the truth.
You are both wrong.

Be done with this drivel there is MTG to be talked about.

LMAO at this poll being 3-1, really shows how unintelligent sep7 really is

Let me answer the poll for anyone not paying attention or just dumb: People drive the news. The larger society does. And when you have one medium that reaches 214 million people every night for four hours, and another that reaches 64 million for one hour, one is going to be far more influential.
Maverick agreeing with you shows that you're wrong.

No shame in that.

What is an "Average American"? What, am I Chinese spy? An Indian business man?

I work, pay taxes, go to school, live a mundane life, I think that's pretty average.

You react this way every time somebody says this, and every time you're surprised again.

Interesting, I thought they were still pushing the Russia thing.

Political analysts agree that it was Trump's constant and dominating presence in newsmedia that allowed him to win.
The news says that, not anyone who bases their findings on fact.

Oh hey look, an example of my point.
Thanks Ian.

Notice how I didn't cite a single person agreeing with me ITT as "proving my point'
1. The single person.
2.Ian did not agree with me, he exemplified the point I made.

Isn't that a completely different series though?

As evidenced by this film and by the show: it doesn't matter.

Terra was a cunt anyway.
Their all based on the same cunt from the comics.

Terra is a cunt in every incarnation.

I wouldn't have had a problem with TTG if they didn't cancel the original for no reason and end it on a massive fucking cliffhanger.

TTG sounds better than TT tbh

never seen either but the first seems to at least have a sense of humor and not take itself too seriously (which you shouldn't do if one of your characters is legit named beast boy)

The news let trump meme his way to the presidency.
You mean public discontent and desperation for strong "tell it like it is" bravado? Macho shit let trump win, not the news.

The average trump voter hasn't watched rhe news in years

also I believe the original discussion was:

Is the news biased more by the political and financial interests of the people running the network, or is it biased more by panderdom and the growth of viewership?

Batman sent him there to learn some social skills, teamwork, and most importantly, how to follow orders.
These were all things Batman had very little luck instilling in him, though his progress was slow.

So, I mean, if Batman was having trouble, it's impressive how much cuntitude he's lost in just a year.

He did greatly improve over time, but he needs to have some form of personality aside from being a genius and asshole. His moments of bonding brings me some hope.
This is Damian Wayne we're talking about.

He's like Batman with hubris. I doubt he'll ever form into something other than an ostentatious workaholic, but the ability to place his faith in others is the crucial element I want to see him develop during the New DCAU's run. He can focus on the ability to build personal relationships after he's figured that out.

Half of this movie:

points for comic book acuracy but this part (which is where I am now) is seriously grossing me out

I was hoping this would go more like Aftershock from the anime.

I liked The Judas Contract quite a bit. Damian is still a bit of a cunt.
