Spoiler
Seeing as the Jews rewrite history constantly, it's not anything I'd take seriously. Hence why I think this thread should be moved to The Flood.

4623
History is equally as pointless as philosophy.

So in response, you're giving him legitimate threads to lock?

Because it's not a hate crime. There are other hate crimes out there, yes even against whites, but this just isn't one so stop forcing it.

By military personnel, they don't mean combat soldiers. The military is multi-purposeful you know, just look at Haiti during their disaster.

There's literally no point to this thread.

Let me lay out your format:

Mod/helper: 9.0 +

Regular user: 8.0-8.75

Dustin: 3

With maybe one or two outliers (Class/Door), this thread is pointless and really tells us nothing.
Spoiler
Someone seems to be upset their thread just got rekt.
Posting a picture is equal to butthurt to you? Someone is delusional.
I'd be mad too if I made a thread and realized it was pointless.

Serious / Exploiting people while drunk
« on: September 17, 2014, 07:06:54 PM »
There are many different situations in which people get drunk and they are in some way exploited by a non-drunk person. They may be a tattoo artist, a lawyer getting you to sign a contract, sex from an unattractive person, etc. Is it your fault for being drunk and being unable to control your actions, or is it the fault of the person exploiting you while being drunk? Or does it depend on the situation?

Any thoughts or opinions on this?

Serious / Re: What do you think of the social justice movement?
« on: September 17, 2014, 06:14:02 PM »
Social justice just like the other new politic ideologies are destructive cancers that need to be extinguished.
Social justice isn't new... at all.

Neither are new labour or new liberalism. They are still the correct terms.
Well it's not called 'new social justice' so there's no point in your rambling.

Anyway, I'm for equality. Social Justice can be a loose word with many definitions, so to clarify I believe that all groups of people should have the same rights as everyone else.

Serious / Hypothetical question (religious discussion)
« on: September 17, 2014, 03:11:34 PM »
Say there's a church who's looking to expand. They look across the street and see another building that would work fine. As it turns out, the building is the place of worship of another religion. They aren't as wealthy and they're struggling financially.

What is the religiously moral thing to do in this situation: buy out the other church to help expand themselves (assuming it is a morally right thing to do to help spread their word of god as most religions believe); or is it more moral to give the other church financial support and help them spread a different word of god?

Pretend you are a religious person for this thread if you aren't and explain what you would do in this situation and why? Please base the morals off those in the OP (helping other people, and spreading the word of their god).

The Flood / Re: Question: Is selective perception connected to memory?
« on: September 17, 2014, 02:55:47 PM »
We don't exactly know how memory works so that's not really an answerable question. I mean, there've been psychological studies that have concluded that given a minute to memorize a line of digits, humans can memorize, on average, about 7 digits in order.

The way neurons work (from what research has told us) is that the distance between a line of electrical signals, and only that, is what codes the images and thoughts we see in our mind. Technically speaking, that would mean our brains aren't big enough, not nearly, to support the amount of knowledge we have. It's possible the research is wrong (although that's unlikely) and the intensity of the electrical signals and their speed actually are factors in our 'mental code' but we really don't know. More likely there's other factors at play we're just not aware of.
