The Flood / What's your opinion on the Iraq War?« on: October 15, 2014, 08:07:49 AM »
Just kidding. No one's opinion here actually matters. Even the armchair foreign relation "experts" have an equal uselessness here. Your opinion has literally no effect on the world. How does that make you feel? To think you have all the right answers (even though you don't) and not having the political power to make any difference? It must be pathetic for you guys. I for one am glad I am not in such a sad state.

Serious / Re: How would you kill yourself?« on: October 15, 2014, 07:59:02 AM »
Spectacularly.
I don't think I'd want people to see my dead body if I was mutilated or fucked up, and I also wouldn't want to do die alone without any attention. Maybe I'd drive a car into someone's house, someone I hated. But that would be super awkward if I didn't die in the crash and I had to see him court while I was on a stretcher. 3964

So yeah, didn't fall asleep at all since I wrote that. If my bitch mom didn't decide to bang on my door at 11:00PM to tell me she was home, I would've actually got sleep tonight.

In order to control the world, you have to take away its meaning? Wouldn't that defeat the point?

Uncertainty in movement only exists within subatomic particles, you can't use the theory and it's mathematical applications and apply it to 'whether or not something exists,' it's especially broken if that something isn't a wave of subatomic particles. We don't know if anything is out there.Schrodinger's Cat man.How does that have any relevance to this at all? Serious / Expanding upon the 'inevitable socialism' and 'unsustainable capitalism' idea« on: October 14, 2014, 04:25:13 PM »
Whether true or not, let's just say libertarian fiscal policy furthers innovation faster than liberal fiscal policy. And as many of us here believe, we will likely one day reach a point in innovation where a socialist gift society become a reality, due to the dimensioning need of a human work force and a rapid expansion upon resources. If libertarian fiscal policies reach us to that point faster, are they more ethical than liberal fiscal policies? Or are liberal fiscal policies more ethical because while it may take longer to reach that point, the journey leaves people happier due to how liberal fiscal policies puts the needs of the workers before that of the corporation?
Before anyone gets butthurt, keep in mind that I am making a few assumptions here: 1) that libertarian fiscal policy furthers innovation faster than liberal fiscal policy; 2) that liberal fiscal policy leaves people happier as their needs are put before the needs of corporations; and 3) that a socialist gift society is an inevitability. Granted the above assumptions are true (and feel free to state whether or not you disagree with any of them), which set of policies are more ethical in your opinion? 3981
