Like they're snoring and stuff and there's people around. Should I do anything to them?

Wake them up, tell them to go up stairs and sleep there.
This isn't my house, this is the student center at my college.

Kiddy fiddler.
Bring the 8 year olds back to their parents.
I'm pretty sure they're older than me, especially considering this is college.

Better question is who wouldn't?

He's older, so he's probably not going to be able to do much damage, hell, he'll probably finish in 30 seconds flat.

You can also hope he passes away in that time frame. Also never said if I killed him would I be set free with all the money.

Loopholes everywhere
Shouldn't it take longer for older people since they can't move very well??

Serious / Re: Why does the internet seem to hate religion?
« on: October 27, 2014, 02:53:55 PM »
We've already gone over how there are no legal consequences of being an atheist.

If someone wants to dislike you for being an atheist, thats their right.
That doesn't stop it from being a consequence. Surely, you'd say, if they didn't want people to dislike them they wouldn't bring up the fact that they're an atheist? That's probably what a lot of forum-using atheists do, in order to hold their views behind a veil of anonymity.

Regardless of whether it's their right, too, it's still fucking bigoted and everybody retains the right to call them out for it.

Thats cool, But will you call out all the atheists who hate religious people as well?

Personally, I don't hate all atheist people. In fact, my best friend and a few other friends are atheists. However in my life, the vast majority of atheist people I have met have been miserable assholes that I don't want to associate with. And with what I've experienced on the internet, I don't think thats a coincidence.
"BUT WHERES UR PROOOOOOOF"

Yeah I stopped taking atheists seriously once I renounced my own atheism a few months ago.

Oh so you're the other trans person on the forum?
What do you mean by other? You know there are more than just me and Groo7, right? It just does not matter.
It doesn't technically matter since it's not like I'm going to treat anyone any differently other than what gender pronoun I should use, but I'm still curious to know things like these, especially when they're kept secret from me.

Vacations are a good thing. Sometimes, you just need to go for a walk in a different part of the woods, clear your noggin out, and then return back home to something fresh.

I won't stop ya. I won't say sorry, because there's nothing to be sorry for. Everybody needs a break every now and then. The internet isn't tiresome physically. But mentally.

So, I wish you a good trip and perhaps, a return to here with some new spark in hand and mind.
I wouldn't blame anybody for leaving. The topics here are about as interesting as watching paint dry and there's nothing but drama and animosity.

Let's face it, we should have all gone back to b.net a long time ago. I personally am growing tired of forums in general. If things go according to plan these next few months, I'll most likely be leaving permanently.
You are just too funny Space Shuttle Challenger whom writes all these emotional posts about how important this forum is for you.

The Flood / Semen found in Starbucks drinks Nationwide

Quote
SEATTLE - it has been reported that the coffee selling giant Starbucks has allegedly been including semen in their products for the last 3 months, after semen samples were found in the back of Starbucks stores.
Apparently human semen added “more flavor” to the beverages on sale. The FDA is currently investigating the company as there are many questions to be answered.

The FDA is currently trying to find out where the semen is coming from. It is currently unknown if the semen is from humans or animals; and if from humans, is it infected semen?

“We can not believe this” says FDA inspector Jamison Fields, “this is disturbing, if i wanted to consume semen I would just do gay pornography, who would’ve known i was consuming semen through Starbucks” concluded Fields. However, not everyone thinks semen in their coffee is exactly a bad thing; according to Starbucks daily consumer Jackie Sultana, “if they’re using semen then they should keep using it because it’s so God d*mn good, I might just try semen alone to see if it’s that good”. Starbucks is yet to send out a public apology, however, we are expecting it really soon.

It is also speculated that the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte, which is only sold at Starbucks in the autumn, is not only loaded with semen, but cockroaches as well. The FDA plan to shut down Starbucks production tomorrow across the nation. We will update you on Starbucks here on huzlers.

Eliminating minimum wage decreases everyone's wages though,
Not really. The current U.S. minimum wage is probably close to where the market would set it, at the moment.
Really? Why do you say that? I'd imagine they'd throw a party and slash paychecks in half if they could. In an economy where there's more people than job positions, and enough people willing to work for extremely low wages, I'd be really surprised if it stayed mostly the same.

at least in the sense that if you raise minimum wage you have to raise everyone else's wage to keep a hierarchal order of one's wage according to their position in the company.
I disagree. Do you have any data for that?
No, I'm just assuming that you're not going to pay people who are higher up the same as someone who is lower than them.

3475
Poor people live paycheck to paycheck, so you can safely assume that their money goes directly back into the economy. If they have less money, then the businesses take a hit because they're not selling as much.
Well, there you're assuming the abolition of the minimum wage would lead to a drop in wages, which isn't as likely as people suffering lay-offs.

But yes, if you reduce wages enough across the board then it should lead to a shortfall in aggregate demand.

Spoiler
I think I got confused by your use of the term "public spending". I thought you were talking about the government's fiscal policy.

So are you going to answer the question?
I'm waiting for you to explain how the abolition of the minimum wage would lead to a drop in government spending. I want to hear your reasoning first.
God dammit Meta...

3478
The abolishment of the minimum wage would decrease public spending, at least initially, would it not?
Could you explain your reasoning?
That's a question, not a statement, Meta.
