I made this post first on Bungie.net, hence why I'm wrapping this in a quote. My opinion on this subject has evolved after discussing it but I honestly don't feel like rewriting this whole thing.

It's completely true that gender and sex aren't synonymous, but the differences aren't as far reaching as the femina­zi co-opted LGBTrans movement extremists would have you believe. The mental-physical attribute of male authoritativeness is based on the male biological role as the provider, the hunter, and the leader as witnessed in literally all ancient societies and tribes. Male authoritativeness was not determined by a coin flip back in ancient ages so that they could differentiate the genders by a social-esque. There was no social construct to separate the genders, biology had already done so. Point is, you are not "assigned a gender" you are merely born with one. If you'd rather live as the opposite sex and are willing to pay for the surgery being fully aware of the medical risks, go ahead, but if this is the case, then you have a disorder, not a natural uniqueness. The same goes for the various non-heterosexualities with the reason being that there seems to be no evolutionary benefit for humans to behave in those manors. However, of course, if you feel better as a different sex or feel better having an attraction towards the opposite sex, you should feel free to act upon those urges. But when it comes to diagnosis, you shouldn't be surprised to hear that you are disordered.

Admittedly however, you could make the argument that there may be some evolutionary benefit to non-heterosexualities simply based on how widespread homosexuality is in the population, especially considering it exists in other species.

I'd also like to extend this point to say that there is no such thing as all these imaginary genders that have been circulating throughout Tumblr, Facebook, and other feminist-dominated social media sites. A gender cannot exist without a biological sex to base itself off of.

It would be illiberal to say that non-heterosexuals and transmen and transwomen should be oppressed and/or discriminated against, so do not glean that impression from this post. I am merely making a scientific implication about the relationship between gender and sex.

I shot a High Standard 22 pistol when I was in California, and that was pretty easy for me. I was nervous the very first shot, but once I saw that it wasn't that loud and it was easy to aim I got the hang of it real quickly. I'll have to post my targets once I get the chance. Anyway, what are some good starter guns for anyone trying to get into shooting?
