When I was 14, I was crossing a busy street, and it was my turn to walk, and apparently a lady wasn't paying attention and kept driving and hit me. The rest was a sort of blur, I just remember being in the ambulance and ending up in the hospital. Luckily I was pretty fine, I just walked with a little limp for a few days.
I'd really appreciate it if you guys would throw some money in for me. I went through a lot and I don't feel like getting a job.

Not angry, just annoyed. Depression is the literal antithesis of "enjoyment", and if you claim that you liked it, you simply haven't had it. There's a lot of things happening mentally when you have clinical depression, but joy is definitely not one of them.
With what Meta said, there is a thing called masochism. I don't know the psychology behind it, but my best guess is that the feeling of pain triggers certain endorphins to release in your brain. And honestly I was a bit of a masochist back then besides just mental pain.
