It's a cool forum focused on social rights issues including atheism and other social justice topics. I'd recommend that you all go and make an account there.

I like to drive over to the various feminist pride parades in my area that they have every few months or so. It just feels comforting helping out people who've faced a considerable amount of oppression that I will never be able to understand as a CIS white straight male.

Probably the executive order protecting immigrants from deportation.
Immigration might be good for the economy but it's bad for school systems when they become overloaded with students whose parents likely aren't paying any taxes.
I know, but Obama has a strong record with nativist immigration measures. Protecting illegals for deportation, and subsequently creating an easier, more streamlined path to citizenship is the best way to secure sufficient infrastructure.
I'm just making the point that there's a limit to the amount of immigrants you can let in per year, especially when they're all going to the same overcrowded cities.

Military members are more deserving of welfare than the poor are.

Or you could have just posted this in one of the other two threads you made on this same topic
I will have your attention if it means getting banned.
You're probably the reason why they have so many government agents scouring this forum
But if you're not doing anything wrong, why would you care about that?
I don't. In fact I like it better this way.

Of course marines can have fun. Go do it on their own money - not mine.
You want a fighting force capable of functioning psychologically. . . Right?
>military >functioning psychologically pick one

$50 says that Obama, himself, didn't know he was interrupting the wedding and it was the secret service that made them clear out.
Trolling aside, this probably is what happened

Inb4liberalasskissersjustifythissomehow
You pretty much may as well say "inb4 someone proves me wrong" as if that stops you from getting proved wrong. Anyway, the president not only gave the bride a personal phone call and apologize, but he made sure that the wedding was moved into a better place on the golf course.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

"Hey guys, lets take a healthcare bill from Massachusetts that didn't really do much good or bad and apply it to the whole country!" Of all his moves in office, this is the one that I simply cannot understand the logic behind. At least the drone strikes and the NSA have agendas behind them.
Well the main purpose behind healthcare reform was that healthcare costs were rising faster than wages were, even before the recession. Whether or not the bill actually accomplishes what it's supposed to can be debated from there, but it did have a good reason behind it.

So they're keeping an eye on the radicals? I certainly don't believe that we should cut out free speech like the way your country has been doing things, but I don't see anything beyond 'logic' to focus on radicals seeing as they're (probably) more likely to start riots, uprisings, terrorist actions.
Warrantless and unregulated collection of private data isn't necessary to keep an eye on radicals. . .
Maybe not necessary but it's certainly helpful. Though I'll admit that I'm sure there have been zero terrorist attacks that have prevented by collecting data. I think most of the data is used for smaller scale things like child porn distributors, people who create and spread viruses, and other illegal activity people conduct online.

As someone who's probably been on an NSA watch list for years now, I just gotta say that there's nothing to worry about if the feds haven't knocked on my door yet.
How do you know if you're on a watch list? You get a letter in the mail or something?
Look into leaks for the hobbies/professions/habbits of those under mass watches and see if you win the lottery.
Does it say why everyone is on there or do you just your name in a giant list?
