Been playing for a little bit now and having a blast, no forge is a bummer but I still am loving the gameplay and the visuals are great.

When does forge come back again?

The Flood / I have the best and worst library ever
« on: December 01, 2015, 09:19:38 PM »
So I started going to a new library, and man do I love/hate it.

Cons:
>Everything is unorganized, making it impossible to find shit.
>There is less books and even less movies at this library than my previous one.
>The place is dirty as hell, gotta bring GermX in with me everytime
>The website and catalog SUCKS.

Pros:
>IT HAS LITERALLY EVERY VIDEO GAME I WANT.
Seriously, this library has Day One editions of Sunset Overdrive, Halo 5: Gaurdians, and soooo much more. PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, 3DS, Wii U IT HAS IT ALL!
I have a copy of Fallout 4 on hold at that library as I type this. And I have started playing Halo 5 for the first time and having so much fun.

It's been fun, but sadly I don't have the time or the interest to keep on much longer here. So I have to call it quits.

See you all on some other place, or kys.

What do you think? I think he makes some good points, even if he does his normal rants. Halo 5 isn't a bad game, just not as good as hyped up to be. Good! But not amazing.

The Flood / The best nickname of all time?
« on: November 02, 2015, 10:44:18 AM »
It could be your nickname, someone else's or just some guy's gamertag you saw on a multiplayer match.

Which one is the best?

Gaming / A new Halo Game Theory

Discuss, gotta give MatPat credit, even if this seems Microsoft sponsored it was quite informative.

In my opinion, he isn't completely wrong. However one thing that isn't mentioned too much is how powerful a Spartan's punch is, only at the end and it definitely isn't talked about as much as it should be.
I'm willing to say that a Spartan's punch breaks something in the neural connection AND damages the neck or spine. However the video makes it sound like a good hit from Gordon Freeman's crowbar can kill him, which is far from right.

Gaming / Anyone here heard of Unepic?
« on: October 28, 2015, 04:33:36 PM »
It's this indie side scrolling game on Steam that's actually a lot of fun.

You play as this random guy playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends, and when you take a break to go to the bathroom you are "drugged" and end up in this mysterious castle, which is where the game progresses.

A silly story, but gameplay wise it's pretty fun, I haven't played too much but going in The Mines dodging boulders is a heck of a lot of fun. Haven't gotten to any boss fights yet.

Gaming / Devs that are on your nice list
« on: October 28, 2015, 10:23:37 AM »
As a counterpart to the negative shit list thread, let's go positive and talk about the good devs.
Which are worth looking at? Or at least lesser evils.

Gaming / Choose your own Adventure Entertainment
« on: October 27, 2015, 06:20:33 PM »
THIS IS NOT TO DEBATE WHETHER THESE TYPES OF ENTERTAINMENT ARE GAMES OR NOT. I'm using the term Entertainment to avoid that, but I will refrain from saying interactive movie or video game, even if I do see them as games and is in the Gaming section.

So, creations like Heavy Rain, The Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, Telltales' Game of Thrones, Until Dawn, etc.
What is your opinion of them as ENTERTAINMENT?

Gaming / Rate your loadout (TF2 & H4)
« on: October 26, 2015, 03:26:06 PM »
I'm bored, so give me a loadout and i'll rate it.

I am mainly knowledgable in Halo and Team Fortress 2, but if you want any other game loadout rated i'll still rate it...just don't expect detailed ones.

Seriously?!
SPOILERS FOR Valiant Hearts AND Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons AHEAD.

I just finished Valiant Hearts: The Great War. Great puzzle game with a lot of historical bits worth reading. However the ending man...WHY?! It fits the whole theme that came with World War 1 but...gawd damnit, RIP Emile.

I also played Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons awhile back too, another great game. With some interesting puzzles and beautiful scenery, and again...the stupid older brother had to get a boner for the spider lady and get killed right at the FRIGGIN END. Leaving the young boy to travel all the way back...

GAAAAAWD DAMN THE FEELS!!!!

Gaming / I have some ideas for a game
« on: October 22, 2015, 02:03:41 PM »
So, as many of you know I am a roleplayer, I very much enjoy roleplaying. And because of roleplaying I have an idea for a new game.

So, a friend of mine once created a huge world for the group of ours to roleplay in, it was pretty amazing how detailed it was. However lately that world has been...pretty unactive, as nobody had played with the world in a long time. I wanted to rekindle what was lost.
At first I wanted to write a book, a story in the world. However as I thought about it more ideas kept coming to me, Movies, TV shows and video games would also work very well for the world.
I finally thought it a great idea for the world to be in an actual video game, I thought about a 3D adventure game but I am not very experienced and a game like that would be butchered, so I decided that the game would be great on a 2D top down perspective, with turn based fighting.

This wouldn't be an easy task to do, and of course I would ask permission from my friend to be able to use the world, however the more I thought about it the more I liked it. I don't want to give too many details but if I decide to try it out and make a game, would you guys want to be updated on it, help out, give ideas, and most of all be interested in it?

Gaming / Good aspects of unfavorable games?
« on: October 22, 2015, 01:23:37 PM »
What are some features in your most disliked games that you like?

Sure, we all have a love/hate relationship with Halo 4, but I think most of us can agree that the story in H4 was better than previous titles.

EDIT: Yes I know, I derped and put this in Flood.

The Flood / I love being sick
« on: October 21, 2015, 07:17:55 PM »
A couple days ago I caught a nasty infection from a family member and now I can't breathe through my nose, have a soar throat, huge headaches and random nausea. On top of that I have non productive coughing.
So I went to the doctor today, and he explained some things to me.

The reasons why I have a soar throat and i'm coughing is because the infection is triggering my Asthma.
There is a chance, a small one, that I have Pneumonia.

I have had Bacterial Pneumonia in the past, it wasn't fun at all, so i'm REALLY hoping the tests and X Rays say I don't have it.

But now I have 4 new medicines I need to take daily, so here is your local sick guy.

So what is your Workout Ruotine?

Usually I halve my hour at the gym up between Cardio and Muscle building

It can be a character you made up, from a movie or book, anything.
