like...cornflakes and yogurt?

If ya want, sure thing. Although I don't actually see how cornflakes are too special. Unless you actually meant cornflakes and yogurt.

7083
Ah nostalgia. The good feeling used to describe the bad feeling of loss.

My fried bologna bacon knock off disagrees.
wtf is bologna?
shady lunch meat that tastes kind of like hotdog
Sounds disgusting. No offence sandy

That's why you charr it! Crispy miscellaneous meat products are good!

Plus, seasoning.
I would rather fresh dog than dodgy processed something. And charred food is never good.

Potatoes, including skin, on the grill, tend to disagree. Little bit of cancer, carconogen creosote black burn on your foods adds a nice little touch.
your diet sounds appalling man.

My diet is rare!

Last time I had potatos on the grill was two years ago. I only ever eat one meal a day. Usually consisting of bread or soup. Just this once I wanted some breakfast.
That's not healthy....

Sure it isn't! Lately I've even been forgettting to eat one meal a day. Or, not bothering. Can't be arsed to bother eating much. I only ever particularily eat when I work a fair bit. I've a neat party trick though. I can down an entire pizza or more in one sitting and make people question why I'm not so fat.
Just start smoking then. It helps

I only ever smoked for a month in highschool. Don't have the lungs for it!

I don't particularily care about me. However. I'm not particularily trying to kill myself just yet. And in that case, I don't think smokes count as food.
No but they help keep the hunger away. Yeah you're body is already kinda fucked up atm. I suppose you don't need to damage it further.

Too late! Ripped some muscles up on my ribcage and stressed something down in my legs. And called the doc up a few nights ago when I was running around too much and forgot that I've a wrist monitor for my heart to keep watch of.

Damage it all ya want.

Of course. Not to smoking. Coughing, is the worst damn thing there is.

Basically anything from Farmfoods

Dunno what the hell or who farmfoods are. Whatever you say boss.
A cheap supermarket

Aha!

Make a wager with me lemon. I too, have a cheap supermarket that sells cheap things. My wager is, my cheap supermarket sounds gayer then yours.

Farmfoods vs Fields
Farmfoods just sounds like a cattle market

Just. Listen to the sentance being said.

"I'm going to Fields."

and don't you dare buy the ones that aren't at least 65% quality!

Don't buy the short ones, don't buy the brown ones!

Better buy the large one

Makes you healthy, makes you strong.

Actually yes buy the brown ones.

That's how you make banana bread.
I can feel that we're not on the same page here.

Were we ever on the same page to start with? I still wouldn't count a banana as a hobo food. Mainly because of how absurdly expensive they are up here.

You're down on your luck, and tired as fu-, so are you gonna do- no, what can you do!? You peel it, you take a bite, and you keep at it until you reach the peel-limit. Now peel it again, and repeat, for a taste of the high energy.

I am of course talking about thick, fulfilling bananas that are full of the good stuff.

Traditionally banannas make poor hobo food since they require climbing a tree, and a tropical climate. That being said.

Bananas and vanilla ice cream.

God does not exist.

Maybe not in the particular sense that people tend to describe, indeed, no. But the description of god can mean, the end all, be all or sorts.

Which is why we're discussing the end all be all of hobo tier foods.

Like fried bologna.

Due to rising costs and companies downsizing their quantity of food, specifically bacon, cutting the content of the package in half while charging the same price, it has been agreed upon that I can't skimp off bacon for the occassional breakfast I rarely have.

So I went to the store, bought a three dollar package of bologna, and fried it up in the pan and had some toast.

Oh how I missed you, iffy meat product.

Discuss god tier cheap foods you enjoy greatly.

There really needs to be a Sandtrap translator where I can copy paste your walls and drop them into a box and it spits out a 3 sentence summary. Cuts out the filler and feeds the results. I'd download that app.

I've a curiosity with the internet. Been puzzling, for some time over how and why people act the way they do, and in general, thinking about people, and I put myself into the equation.

A rather interesting set of events happened today that got me thinking.

And it all added up.

It's like math, really. Except with words and ideas. Anyway. Been a long time since I've had a clear head like this.

Taking time, to enjoy it while it lasts.

Believe me if I could shorten this down I'd do so.

The thing with making statements. I've been taught to show how I arrive at a conclusion. Ingrained, very much so. There was no, actual main point to be made here.

Only a a long series of points that suddenly added up. That's as best of a true TL:DR I can give you.

Multiple pieces of a puzzle all showing up together in the right order.

You know what fascinates me? People on the internet. Or more specifically, what they do, and why they take such stances. And maybe, why my stances seem to be different from my own eyes.

A fine example and point of reference I'll use are the threads stuffed into this one. http://sep7agon.net/index.php?topic=34638.0

So for starters. People's belief, in "not taking the internet seriously." Why? Because they've been bullshitted, of course. They've run into people who've pulled their strings, or seen people have their strings pulled by jokers. Buttons pushed by assholes with the intent of getting a rise. Desensitized and disbelief.

It relates to what I was talking to longface about in that very thread. About the responsibility a writer holds. They hold a greater potential to sway and create things. Whether positive or negative. But the truth is this. The title of "writer" is a falsehood. Everybody writes. The internet has opened up people, to writing.

The only real difference that the title of "writer" means, is one's ability and apptitude to write and convey. As such, the internet has a folly that nobody sees.

People write. And they do so irresponsibly. They abuse their ability to write and create. Why? Human nature. Just like you'd bump into people out in every day life, whose sole purpose can be to ruin somebody's day.

As such, I ask again?

Why?

What does one get out of being an asshole? And I mean, not jokingly, in person or the internet. I mean getting a raise out of someone. Putting them down.

What does one get?

A boost of self esteem. A reassurance to their ego and their insecurities.

That raise, is artificial. Putting somebody down, makes them temporarily feel superior. Above other people.

What else, do we know, creates an artificial sense of self worth and superiority? Money.

But hold on. Not, explicitly money. Money creates short lived bursts of happiness. Because let's face it. Having what you want is fun. As such, that happiness, that people often claim is false or hollow, is very real.

However. The sense of being elite. Being wealthy. Having things that others do not. It creates the very same sense and boost that an asshole gets when they purposefully put somebody down. And yet it's artificial. Temporary, and fake.

Go up to a rich person, one who considers themselves elite, above others because of their possessions, and shoot them in the head. They die. Do the same, to a guy on the street, he dies.

So what is that boost? That little rise of esteem?

Conformity.

People, are wonderful at constructing barriers, literally, and metaphorically.

Picture a house. It's yours. The inside of the house protects you. You can make it your own special environment. It could be nice and inviting, and you could say, that you house was tropical inside, while it was raining and cold outside.

You could even say, that you house was your world. You could live inside for the rest of your life and never leave.

But that would be denying reality. What's outside your house is still outside your house. Cold and rain. You've simply just picked your perception of things and pulled a bit of a blind over your eyes.

You've made your conformity. Your artificial rise from reality.

And anything breaching that, is a threat. As such, people being different, from one another, is often looked down upon. Because people love to lie to themselves about reality. Society. It's a false construct. Trends and likes and dislikes and fashion. Money and wealth and possession.

Fake security. Fake reassurance.

So, I circle back to my starting point. Why do I look at things differently? Why do I take things, more seriously and heavy hearted than others? Because I'm a writer. I know what writing can do. And if you don't believe me, look at how much power writing holds.

The bible. The koran. The second amendment.

People have fought, and died for those words. They've followed those words to sheer stupidity and beyond.

I take things a little more seriously because, I understand what writing can do to people.

And all of you, who claim, "don't take it seriously."

You've essentially gone up to the internet, and ignored what you are capable of doing. The very worst parts of people emerged because of the lack of barriers. The lack of repurcussions.

One, singular asshole abused what he could do. And it started a chain reaction.

And now it's either assholes, disbelievers, and touchy feely faggots like myself.

In which case I have to laugh. When I bring up, anecdotal experiences from my life to make a point in something, most people disregard it. They don't believe it. They don't believe what I'm saying because they've conformed to the internet, and its habits.

The very wonderful cultivation of asshats, and people lying and trying to get a raise out of one another.

A big, enormous, viscous circle, of artificial worth, and artificial conformity. When the reality is, nobody is above one another.

And, at the end of the day, every last one of us dies.

So?

What do you do with that?

Pick what you like. Pick what suits you. Take the best out of society and what part of it agrees to you. And cut all the bullshit out as best you can. But, show a little decency. A little bit of responsibility to your actions and what you might create.

TL:DR?

Go fuck yourself. One night of clarity and I've had to hurry and write this down before I forget it. And felt like sharing it. Learn some culture and read sometime.

It might do you some good. Goodnight you fegs.

I remember one time I had a lapse in judgement, and I tried to play Reach a year or 2 ago. And the very first match I get into there is a guy Banshee bomb spamming and flipping. So I got in the Scorpion and shot him down. He then proceeded to send me a whole bunch of messages detailing why I was a pussy bitch for using the Scorpion to shoot him, and how he is the most skilled player ever for being able to button mash Banshee trick + Banshee bomb.

I kept asking him how that was possible, and then he called me bad and blocked me. I then made a mental note to never try and play Reach again.

I tried playing Reach again recently.

Obviously, I prioritized Big Team Battle. It immediately put me into the same shitty grey and green blocky map on Forgeworld that I played 75 years ago the last time I played Reach.

Probably the last time I'll play that game. Forgeworld makes me fucking sick.

Aye brother! Make not the mistake of going back there. It's one thing, you don't want to let your nostalgia call the shots on.
If I was going to let nostalgia auto pilot me into a Halo game I would spend all my time in Halo 2.

I used to hate doing Flood gamenights because all we would do is play fucking forgeworld maps on Reach.

That's why I never joined those gamenights explicitly. I said I'd never be caught playin' Reach again and to this day I've not sullied that oath.

i mean yeah, if that's what the game boils down to--just nonstop rolling to avoid attacks and shit--then, yeah
bad game design

but i'm willing to bet that it's a bit of an exaggeration

Rolling is generally your primary form of agility and fast, directional movement. When you roll in dark souls, there is a brief period of time where you have what people briefly nickname "I frames," short for  Invincibility Frames. A very, very short window of no damage that can be done to you.

The first thing you learn in souls is not to spam rolling. Every attack, and every weapon has a different time to it, a different window that you have to avoid things.

It is, for most players, their primary form of protection.

Secondary, is the use of a shield.

And thirdly, for those who have timing down to a precise art, there is parrying, in which case the majority of humanoid enemies you encounter, can be parried, stunned, and then riposted for extra critical damage.

Most, average players utilize rolling the most.

Jono. Taking a quick peek around. Other folks have had the issue before as well. BOTH, 360 users and PC users have lost saves to updates to which they can never get back.

I was, a bit scatter fucked in the head and thought for some reason that you were disconnected from LIVE for a time which can contribute to blank slates in games when loaded up. But obviously a disk drive wouldn't cause that.

So. I do apologize. If it helps, the first place I ever set up got fucked over as well. And, if I had to flip a coin on it I might bet that if I loaded it up I might lose it as well.

Sorry man.
Ah, that's right yeah.

Only a couple of weeks ago, my Minecraft PC corrupted this fucking awesome save I had. It was pretty much Badass Futuristic Warzone City 2.0, and it was so freaking dope.

But now I only have Badass Futuristic Warzone City 1.0 now cause Minecraft is a fucking coon. I can post pics to show you how badass it was. Well. The Badass Futuristic Warzone City 1.0 that is.

Whatever you show me, it will never be equal to the giant glass cool aid man dispensing lava we secretly constructed behind and overtop of our friends house when he was AFK.
