No, you're just trying to apply your own opinion as fact to describe a group of people.
Well to be fair, think about it. The primary reason. You look at somebody who has a tattoo. Your eyes are drawn. The more they have, the more you stare. Same with piercings. Like I said. Arms. If I were to get a tattoo, or tattoos, it would be my arms or hands, since those are all I see all day. I don't spend all day looking around in the mirror at myself. And I don't think most people do either. To some people, tattoos can have a meaning, so I could see them being elsewhere, even if the person never really gets a chance to admire them. But, generally, it seems like the vast majority of the purpose of a tattoo, is to A) Make a statement to be seen B) Mark one as being different C) Added because they can indeed look very nice All three of these reasons, are visible displays, and therefore, most likely, primarily rooted in self centered origins, for the purpose of display or attention. The purpose of attention, may not be absolute. But it's no doubt the primary underlying cause.

Death is natural. It's an inevitable wall that everybody has to face. Its prospects are frightening because we really don't know what the fuck it is. Or, mainly, what or if there's something beyond it. Either prospects nothing, or something, are frightening.
I know what it's like to exist almost being dead. You put your head down and close your eyes and there's nothing. I woke up with no recollection of anything, or even the passage of time. The prospect of hitting a switch and suddenly losing everything you've ever known, is no pun intended, grim.
Is it the worst? Not exactly. Because we all have to make that jump eventually, regardless.
But there are states for people where death is prefferable. States to exist in where death would be a kindness.
Is it the worst?
No. It's not peachy either. Let's face it. The prospect of losing all you know? Not a very good feeling.
But I certainly wouldn't say it's the absolute worst.

I can understand tattoos on visible things that you see every day. I mean, arms or hands. Because some tattoos can be stunning to look at. I see my hands and arms every day, so getting ink there would be something I could enjoy. Could see it every day. But, I suppose it's true though. Some people are certainly eye catchers.
