Serious / Question for Meta(or anybody who is economically versed)
« on: June 08, 2015, 12:07:13 PM »
Hokay. Question.

What's your take on a wage barrier? As in, there's a limit to how much you can make and own, moneywise, for personal useage. Personal income.

Let's just say.... the personal income barrier for every person in a country somewhere is....1 million a year. They can't go over that. And any excess is sent to the government for use in doing government stuff.

Sounds a bit like communisim. Please, discard the label shunting before taking it into consideration.

Restraining someone and showing some restraint aren't necessarily the same thing <.<

If someone is going for you with wild abandon then regardless of their gender defending yourself is the right thing to do. It really doesn't matter what their chromosomes are if they are trying to maim you.

But if someone slaps you then you don't exactly need to put them in hospital for it.

Talk shit get hit. Nope. Have to enforce superiority. They slap me I have the moral right to run them over with my truck. And their house with a combine harvester.

Justice, served.

Weird that the entire thread would get nuked because one kid's spam.  Or was it because the mods got as defensive as the Desticles did?
He said in another thread that the mods wouldn't ban him because they approved of his actions.

And they say we have bad moderation.

It's Dusty.

You can't take whatever he says seriously. You really can't.

I really hope I never bump into any of these people in real life. My peasant head cannot even.

Don't have shit like this in the middle of nowhere, or in a bit of a rough environment. Hope to god it never shows up here either. Ridiculous.

Don't know here. So many variables to take into account. Ideally, it'd be peachy if fucking nobody acted like cunts to each other. But, that can't happen. Never will.

I've some personal rules for this whole mess. Arguably, I'n my life I'm more likely to be attacked by guys than I am women. I mind my own business.

I would generally, always try to back out of a fight before getting into it. But you have to take things into account.

Personally, I would never hit a woman. But, no law says that you can't subdue them. No law says that you can grab them and stop them from hitting you. No "privelege" can claim that you attacked them and that they're the victim.

As for guys, I'd give them a chance at least. Try to make the case of "let's not get into this for our sake."

However. Lethal intent? Doesn't matter who or what at that point. Priority is survival. That's the way I go about things. Seems fair enough to me.

Know that both sexes aren't equal physically. So you have to accomodate for it. No other way.

Don't ask me. English language is like that. Loads of words that you just sort of toss in there, but actually can't really say what exactly they mean.

4th commentor! We've got our four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Sorry for the derail, Meta.

Meta. Question. Who made that statement?

"We can't have infinite growth on a finite planet"
it's a common liberal sentiment

Fuck. Would have been great if somebody explicitely stated it. Could easily reply with,

"Your mother contradicts that statement."

i don't want people to die, i just don't want more people to live

i'll be the horseman of hate

I get Horseman of Death.

Boo. Figured Verb would go for it since he's all for everybody dying anyway.

You're a smoker.

You'd be better as pestilance. Could blow minty flavored smoke and bugs all over people from those yellow british teeth of yours.

Suppose I could call famine.

Hokay. Taking auditions for horsemen of the apocalypse here.

Verb's got little faith in people
I've got little faith in people
I'm pretty sure meta has little faith in people too

4 horsemen right? Next fucker that comes in here is number 4.

Serious / Re: "We can't have infinite growth on a finite planet"

We've the ability to completely exhaust resources however. And the ability to overpopulate.

In order to have infinite growth while sticking to one planet? Extreme refinement. Total control over every aspect of what people do. You'd have to be talking an almost totilatarian order that regulated and monitored everything across the planet.

The more time goes on, the more we use. Sturdier forms of metal have already been phased out for the sake of conserving their dwindling numbers while cheaper, easier to manufacture ones have taken their place. You can't recycle an alloy. Once metals are fused that's it.

You can't replant the rainforest after it's gone. You can't even plant a rainforest and have it survive successfully.

Not saying it's impossible. We've got an entire asteroid belt in our solar system to work with.

But, taking into account human nature?

It's not impossible. But likely, improbable.
