Speaking of, I feel like watching Bicentenial Man tonight.
As Meta said. If we can consider it sentient, then of course. Although, defining sentience isn't as easy as picking out your favorite cereal box at the store. And, it only gets more complex if you add engineered coding and thinking into the process.
The real intriguing thing to find, is at what point, does the code essentially, "come alive?"

that doesn't explain what's so bad about CoD, though
i mean, i know what's wrong with CoD--it's an FPS but uh
Maybe it's because it doesn't really have it's own flavor at this point. It just goes with the trends and no longer has much of an identity for itself. That, or you could say that it helped foster shit elements in the shooter communities and gaming communities and marked some bad trends in gaming industry. CoD was a standard setter, previously.

No. Pretty close, at one time however.

there are guns, and you shoot people with them
if you like halo, if you like battlefield, if you like TF2, there's no reason you shouldn't like CoD
Aha but shooting comes in different flavors. Halo is space sci-fi stunning environments and aliens. Battlefield was big environments and destruction physics. TF2 is comical and light hearted to a degree.

You know what's an even better way to conserve ammo?
AND keeps you out of harmful cqc?
Good old fashioned driving. Splatters aren't against the rules either.

I don't quite know. I'd consider it a grievous mistake on my part if something real shitty came out of it like a lost limb or something. I do have a regret that sticks out though.
We had an old farmcat once. Really nice cat. Like a small dog basically. One day I spotted him lounging around. And something didn't seem right to me. Everything looked perfectly normal. But something bugged me.
The first thing I thought of when I looked at the cat was, "get him to the vet's now."
But, I waved it off. Didn't say anything.
Sure enough, 2 days later, the old cat was noticeably in trouble.
Off to the vet he went. And they couldn't save him.
I don't know if it was a mistake. He might have been a goner no matter what. But I will always regret not speaking up on that little itch of mine.

Welp.
I can put a checkmark on bad childhood.
Not on dad issues though.
The old fellow lives a few provinces away. But that doesn't stop me from calling him up and saying hello. At the very least, talk with him for a few hours.

Always a fan of mechanicals.
The Jurassic Park flag adds more confusion.
Seemingly matches my apparent mood these days.

There was an old game I was given for the original xbox. A battlestar galactica game.
All I remember is that game being unrelenting as fucking shit. First mission.
I failed multiple times just trying to keep my wing buddies alive. If one of them died, that was it. I also failed trying to keep myself alive. I also failed trying to keep the main ship alive while trying to keep myself alive while trying to keep my wing buddies alive.
Then they gave me some space station to blow up.
After so many tries of all of that, and finally succeeding in not getting ass pasted by the space station's guns, I shot it up enough and was given a time limit until those reactors went critical.
And by this point, my ship didn't have enough power left to use the boost. So I fucking died because I was required to use the boost all through the level but really, the boost was extremely important for outrunning the station.
So I said fuck that game.

No. I don't actually put much thought into names and nor do I care. In person I barely actually use names when I talk to other people. And it always comes as a bit of a momentary shock to me when somebody uses my name in person to refer to me.

This is the problem with trying to understand the world.
If you spent your life looking at the shadows of puppets on a cave wall, wouldn't you think that those shadows were the world?
And if one day you turned around and saw the puppets, wouldn't you think that they were the world?
How would you eventually keep trying to find your way out of the cave and into the world, if you had no idea there was an outside of the cave?
We really never can be certain of it.
Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy? It's like were caught in a landslide, With no escape from "reality".
Aha! But we all have a built in off switch! Wanna know what it is?

Elegiac, Challenger, Das, and Byrne post in like every single thread on here...
I haven't seen Ele in a while. Chally only seems to come out at a certain time of day. Yellow snake guy just seems to like everything instead of talking. And fuck if I know who Byrne is. All four of those people seem to adhere to the statement in the OP.

Can't say that with 100% confidence in mind either. A perfect simulation is, after all, a perfect simulation. We don't live in one, though.
Send me to hell for all eternity if I'm wrong.
What if that is programmed to exist
Well, see, that wouldn't make any sense then. Because technically Verb wouldn't be dead. Which would mean in the real world he'd have a really god damn long lifespan.
No. I meant what if Hell is programmed to exist? That this computer simulated world is so powerful, it can simulate religious lands of Heaven and Hell?
My point still stands. Heaven and hell are supposedly death based things. Which would mean, that after somebody "died" in-simulation, and ended up in either one, their lifespan would technically be beyond the average lifespan of a human then, now wouldn't it? They wouldn't be dead. They'd still be intact, just shifted from one running program to another. Assuming that you're plugged into a computer in the real world, that means your entire body is still intact and that therefore your age-wise lifespan is longer than a normal human's.

Not really. Cheat can take the position from him at any time if he really is abusing his powers and handling his position over there very poorly.
Oh I see how it is. Tblocks is just part of the chain of command. It all goes back to Führer Cheat.
