Because they're not raised the same way, that's why some farmers markets have shit that tastes the same as the supermarket.
My question was in reference to why the meat I ate randomly tasted worse than your meat even though they're cultivated the same way.

I am trying to give up meat.
No beef or pork, but chicken is too hard to resist.
Just remember meat only taste good because of the seasoning/curing it goes through post-harvest. If you repeat the same process with something like tofu it tastes excellent as well. There's nothing inherently good tasting about animal carcass.
I eat everything raw. i.e unseasoned. I let the food add flavour to itself.
Unless you're buying all of your meat directly from the guy who killed the cow, it's been flavoured already. Why do you think it tastes so good?

Think of more combat precision and the most historically accurate Medieval project you can think of. The developers came in wanting to nail historical accuracy left and right, and how you fight/deal with people. The main appeal as well is that the game will move on without you if you don't go to places. So for example in Skyrim someone will say "meet me at this town" and go and wait forever.
In Deliverance they'll go and if you don't show up by a certain time, they'll go on without you. No way points either to complete quests (more so an aoe around a map telling you it's somewhere here) so the game doesn't hold your hand and wants you to actually think at times.
Normally I'd read that because it isn't much and you wrote it specifically for me, but right now I'm gonna say fuck it. I still don't know
