How is VOG here compared to the original
Basically the same raid, the only real major change is that you now have to shoot the oracles in the order they appear.
Very fun overall, better than basically every other raid we've had in the past couple years aside from maybe Last Wish.
What's the light leve requirementl, I might hop on this.
I think it's only 1300, don't need to grind to a higher power this time.
How do i grind to that level? Ive got no idea what's going on in the game and every time i boot it up im instantly sucked into some random mission with no context. like half the planets and areas are gone and the Fallen dude who helped me get Outbreak prime has gone full Arbiter apparantly
If you're below 1300 you should just go up in power with the majority of armour/weapons you earn.
Yup. I got my alt account up to 1200 in a day just by doing the beyond light campaign. All you do is instantly equip high armor / weapons as soon as you get them and don't try to infuse anything. The higher your gear, the higher the drops you get, the higher your gear, etc. Rinse and repeat. Also: don't do pinnacle stuff like crucible / gambit / strikes until you're maxed out at 1310. It's a waste otherwise.

Yes. I prefer this raid to all the others on D2 TBH. If LW wasn’t so glitchy and inconsistent I would say that’s my favorite but that may be because of our consistently cursed Petras Runs.

I was able to get the base clear after about 8 hours, but group was too tired to bother doing it again + challenges for the emblem

I got a Series X. It's ok. I really only use it for Destiny, in which it behaves about the same as my mid-range gaming PC. My only complaint is really regarding the ports:
1. No optical port for headsets, so you must use either wireless OR USB 3.
2. No USB-C. Kinda weird and not a deal breaker, but I expected a next-gen console to have at least one USB-C port.
Honestly? Unless you can't deal with load times on old-gen or really really want that 4k gaming experience, you might be better off waiting for the slim version (because we all know it's gonna be a thing). If this wasn't a gift and if my clan didn't main Xbox on Destiny 2, I'd still be on PC.

Terrible terrible pain. I'm actually swamped with work. Have to dose myself with edibles most week nights just to sleep because of the anxiety. I plan on continuing v3 eventually but yeah... lack of motivation after debugging this work project's dumpster fire repository. Can't say much because of non disclosures, but this internal project I got attached to wasn't planned well, wasn't commented, and has constant cascading compile- and run-time errors I can feel my sanity slipping every time I have to interact with it. Stay away from Angular's Firebase library, kids. But this is fine.

Yes. Also if you get a trial to Xbox Game Pass, everything is included apart from the season (which isn't needed for the raid).

Actually my boss bought me a Series X for my 5 year anniversary sooooo I'm on that now. Couch gaming is so much more convenient on a console. No more random taskbar minimization. No more bluetooth keyboard lagging or disconnecting. Bliss. And yeah. My professional computer is a MacBook Pro, but I'm comfortable with all OS (OS X, Windows, Linux, etc.).

Cheat made it so you have to get past a certain point in Destiny 2™ to post on the forums.
