Would the new 3DS be worth getting over the regular 3DS?

I know the thing has the second nub but would that be used all that much since the 3DS doesn't have one? I know there's that money grabbing accessory but that can't be used as much either since it's an accessory. Then there's the CPU which is faster on this model. Is the 3DS that slow where it would be justified paying more for the new model? That there is the only reason why I'm considering it when it comes out in the US.

Depends. If Ninty is going to start making a bunch of new games that'll only work on the new model I'd go with that.

Ehhh, really the only thing I'd get it for is if the new pokemon games (Gen 6) didn't have the FPS tank whenever you turn the 3D mode on. But even then, I doubt I'd buy it for a gimmick that works instead of a gimmick that doesn't work.

Nintendo has already said that the new 3ds isn't getting its own games. So you don't have to worry about that. And from what I've read, the faster cpu is only noticeable when booting up games that were digital downloads (smash takes about 30 seconds to boot up on my ds, allegedly it's much faster on the new one)
The nub, eh I don't see it being that useful. It acts as a c-stick in smash and can move the camera in some other games I think.

Wow, ign's wiki and on old article say the new and old ds's will share all the same games. Thanks for pointing that out. If xenoblade is only for new 3ds I'm sure several other games will be as well

You should wait for the New 3ds. Its an improved model, it won't cost anymore than a 3DS does now.

I'm assuming that New 3DS is the DSI 2.0. There are a few games for it, but for the most part it was still mostly DS games that were released in that time period.

I think I also remember Nintendo saying that regular 3DS games wouldn't be improved by the new CPU, but I'm too lazy to find a source for that.
