If you go onto the 360 home page right now you can download the Destiny demo for free. Would a money grabbing developer or publisher release a free demo for their game? I think not.

Why wouldn't they? They released the demo months after the game came out.  They're trying to get kids to download the "free" game and get hooked and buy the full game, only to realize the demo is 1/3 the total games content, and oh yeah you have to buy the 40 dollar season pass to play parts of the 60 dollar game you just bought that are locked away every other week

I refuse to pay $0 for this demo. It is part of Bungie's overarching 10 year plan and it is a privilege that I get to even acquire a glimpse into that. I will pay a minimum of $34.27 to experience this brush with perfection.
