Goodness gracious, great balls of lightning!
The only things GTA 4 does better than V is the ragdoll physics. online game modes, and some online features. GTA 5 is superior in every other category.

But like the post above me says, San Andreas is better than both.

The physics were no doubt better, but a lot of things GTA V did better.

I still prefer car handling on GTA V. Might not be as realistic, but the boats in GTA IV were irritating to me.

Yeah the dude brought up a good point that it's just more to do with the fact that you could do it in the previous one but not the current one.

Agreed. I thought the level of detail in GTA V was nice, but this goes far beyond.
