While that's a distinct possibility, I'd point to Bioware's own track record with surveys as a reason to be cheerful. Back in 2012, a similar story flew around about Inquisition, and many of the details revealed turned out to be bang-on. Add to that the fact that Mass Effect is presumably a little further on in development, and I'm cautiously hopeful that what we're seeing here is at least Bioware's intent, if not the final version of the game.
