Solid Snake Or Big Boss?

I'm assuming some people here play MGS so I'd like to hear what you guys think.

Although I think Solid Snake is a pretty swell dude, Big Boss seems like the sort of dude that I'd hang out with. (Before The Bosses death at least)

I also feel as though the Big Boss "Trilogy" is far more interesting then Solid's. I felt like Big Boss had more character where as Solid Snake's story always felt like dumb Japanese crap.

So who is the better Snake?

That is a good question.

Umm...Big Boss is the original G but Solid is pretty awesome as well. Hmm...dammit!

Big Boss. Dark Heroes are always more interesting, especially when you kill him off in the 2nd game ever and then they dive into his backstory.

Ending to MGS3 made me cry

Even though I model my online persona mostly after BB (because we share very similar details), I do prefer Solid Snake. Solid is just more wise and stoic, which I enjoy. He also looks cooler (MGS1 SS>TPP BB>PO BB>All). And despite my dislike for MGS4, I did like how Solid "fulfilled" the Boss's dream, something that BB couldn't.

Liquid is the real MVP tho.

Side note, I reserve the right to change my opinion after the release of MGSV.

No, that can't happen. Because that would be a good idea, and Hideo doesn't like those in MGS4.
