So really the one annoyance I have with Link Between Worlds is when you save, the game likes to play annoyed mom at you.

"Hey Luci, you've been playing this game for a while. Maybe take a break???"

Thanks, mother, but I'm not 12. I know how to handle myself. It's the same annoyance as MGS4 when it told me that too. I don't need the game to tell me to take breaks.

that's whatever to me--if more games did that, i probably wouldn't mind

it just depends on how frequent, i guess

You know, someone who's not autistic needs to do Zelda lets plays, because every one I see is people with lisps and really whiny voices.

I'm not kidding, really. It's fucking annoying. I just want help slightly when I'm stuck, not you whining forever. The intro's are the worst.




Anyway, I beat Phantom Hourglass. Or at least I basically did. Final fight it freaked because I hit a wrong key and it saved over my actual data and I died, so I'm back like 10 hours. So whatever, watching the final cutscene and moving on.

i tried doing a zelda 2 let's play a few years ago, but i deleted it because i had nothing interesting to say and my gameplay sucked

doing that shit is harder than it seems

This game (Spirit Tracks) lets you play music in duets, so it's already better than Phantom Hourglass (which I thought was painfully boring).

I knew something was missing from that game. It was the musical instrument.

And you're with Zelda the entire game, so that's a plus. I like when she's actually useful minus the last 10 mins of the game. The damsel in distress thing gives me an annoying Mario vibe.

i hated spirit tracks mainly because of the train gimmick

just couldn't get past it

i personally liked spirit tracks, i didn't mind the train/overworld because the music was pretty kickass

Yeah that's another thing. The dungeon music seems to be different for each place. In Hourglass it wasn't. It was a shittier remake of the Link to the Past one.

Anyway no, ST is an amazing game.  The gameplay is vastly improved from PH, it actually has good music, you don't have to do shitty temple of the ocean King a million times, the story is good, and the dungeons are well designed

Zant was one of my favorite boss encounters. He was one of the few bosses that forced you to utilize your previously acquired items to take him out.
