The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
What the hell is with the sound design. That constant fucking beeping/clinking is annoying.

Why is everyone comparing this to S&D?

There's not even an objective. I'd compare it more to Gears' slayer mode considering the lead MP designer on Halo 5 was lead MP designer at Epic.

That just looks like team Elimination, which has been in Halo since CE just never used in matchmaking for some reason.

Not a big fan of faster kill times and their art and sound direction irk me, but the gameplay doesn't look bad. I honestly think Halo 4 had the best weapon balancing in the series, just was held back by poor additions like ordinance.

God damn it I don't want that cartoon looking shit.

Horrible. Never playing that Gametype. Faster kill times is not what I want. Halo was fun because it wasn't super twitch, you got into good gun fights and were rewarded if you could land the most headshots. Now we get spray and pray SMGs. Fantastic.

Not a fan of that map either. Hate the design. Prefer the one shown in the original leaks.

I'll still be reasonable and wait until I play the beta.

I'm pretty sure Halo 3 had that exact gametype as a default Slayer variant, called "Elimination", minus the whole "let's be a twitch shooter" shield deduction.  Gee, I wonder why that was never popular in previous Halos.

This looks like a solid and enjoyable game mode. This will have people resort to team work and communication, something all games should be about. Excited to play the beta, then develop thoughts on the game

I've always said that modded Halo 4 (no sprint, descope, no ordnance etc.) had the best gunplay... But that's just me.

Yeah, pretty much they all do. Some more wear, less plastic-y, but same design, visors look sweet though.





Although Recon looks like they wanted to throw some wiring on it to make it look cool.
