Recently I rekindled my interest in collecting every Nintendo 64 game. Not counting regional exclusives, there are only 296 to collect, making it one of the smaller and easier libraries to complete.

Here's my progress so far. I only have 70 right now, but I'm gonna go hunting later today and hopefully increase it to about 75. I'm missing some heavy-hitters, but that will make it all the more exciting for me when I finally find them.

I may or may not post some reviews of these at some point, but I'll definitely update my progress as I add more games.

I'd really love to get my hands on:

Banjo-Tooie
Harvest Moon 64
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
Goemon's Great Adventure
Snowboard Kids
Snowboard Kids 2
Earthworm Jim 3D
Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber
Duke Nukem 64
Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2

I'd also like to get Quake, but apparently the N64 version of the first Quake is super shitty. Obviously, I have to get it anyway, but it's not a priority.

Damn, you’re gonna have to collect all those shitty WCW games. I pity you.

Also good luck finding a copy of the N64 version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3.

Check out Facebook marketplace for some bargains.
Is Conker's bar fur day (NTSC) a rare thing in the USA? Its mad pricy here in the PAL regions.

Yeah, apparently it's one of the more valuable ones. Would be stoked to find one.

Very economical.

I was going after CIB exclusively. I don't intend on collecting ALL, just some of the more rare games and/or N64 must haves.

StarCraft 64 PAL - maybe...

Pick ups today:

- An atomic purple controller with a stick that doesn't completely suck, which is nice ($20)
- An expansion pak which is required to get Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark, and Donkey Kong 64 to work ($20)
- Four new games to add to my total: Extreme-G, Re-Volt, Bio F.R.E.A.K.S, and Glover

Picked up Mega Man 64, Excitebike 64, and Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 a couple days ago.

I'm also very elated to have picked one of these up:

three versions of street fighter 2, although Super Turbo is the only one that matters as far as i'm concerned

(do not ask me what's being reflected off the monitor)

Some more pickups, albeit pretty boring ones:

A Bug's Life
All-Star Baseball 99
Bass Masters 2000
Extreme-G 2
Fox Sports College Hoops '99
GT 64: Championship Edition
Mission: Impossible
Roadsters
San Francisco Rush: Extreme Racing
Turok: Rage Wars
Twisted Edge Extreme Snowboarding
Waialae Country Club: True Golf Classics
Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey '98
WCW Mayhem
WCW vs. nWo: World Tour
World Driver Championship
WWF Attitude

Nothing TOO exciting here, but this makes 95 out of 296, so I'm almost a third of the way there.

There's so many fucking racing games on this system, it's kinda unreal.

Arguably the best WCW game but all wrestling games on the N64 pale in comparison to WWF No Mercy

Picked up a few good ones today:

Banjo-Kazooie
Jet Force Gemini
Dr. Mario 64
Spider-Man
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
Armorines: Project S.W.A.R.M.
NBA Hangtime

Delighted about getting Banjo. Jet Force Gemini is apparently quite good, too.

102/296

Found Mario Party 2 just lying around the house. I thought we didn't have this one, but I guess we do. That means I have every numbered Mario Party game up to 8, and that makes 103 N64 games.

We seem to have cleaned out the general area of all N64 games, so we decided to go back to our NES collection we've had going for the past 20 years. We got a good haul over the past couple days, and we're up to over 270 tapes, which is about 40% of the whole library (not including unlicensed games, which we only have a handful of).

Best pick-up so far has been two golden Zelda II cartridges, one in the box, with the manual + a golden LoZ1 cart.

[Here's where I'd post a picture of them if I had a decent camera on me right now.]

We're not box collectors by any means, and typically prefer loose cartridges anyway for display purposes, but if there's one series I'd like to own the complete package of for every game, it's Zelda.

N64 additions:

F-Zero X (pretty psyched about this one)
Pilotwings 64 (just two more from 1996 to go; Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey)
Gauntlet Legends
Quest 64
Tom and Jerry in Fists of Furry
NFL Blitz (highest rated sportsball game for the system)

Could've picked up Mortal Kombat 4 and a few other things, but I was already going a little over budget. For now, that makes 109 out of 297 (there's actually a new one on the market called 40 Winks, a PS1 game that got unofficially ported over after some Kickstarter thing).

Also picked up Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy Anthology for PS1, which contains the first official release of FF5 for Western audiences, as well as an enhanced remake of FF6 which I care less about. Now I just need to find another collection for the PS1 called Origins, which has FF2, and then FF3 for DS to bridge every gap.

I also have Nier now (not Automata, just Nier). I'll try this one out soon.

Army Men Sarge's Heroes 1 and 2 are goofy fun, and the Army Men: Air Attack games were fun too.

I remember looking for Air Attack 2 for the PS2 as a kid every time I went to Blockbuster and they never had it until one day they finally did. I never saw that game again after I was done renting it.

Army Men Sarge's Heroes 2 and Army Men Air Attack 2 are some of the rarest PS2 games IIRC.

Finally picked up Majora's Mask cart today, which I'm pretty psyched about. It was my single most-wanted game for the system, and now I have it.

Coolest cartridge ever.

Also picked up Yoshi's Island for SNES + 7 or 8 random NES games, none of which are noteworthy, but bring my NES collection up to 301 unique titles, or 44% of its US library.
