On second thought, I think I actually regret indicting that guy. From what I understand of the Forest Hunter covenant, the whole point is to invade people, but not in a way that's completely toxic. You're just supposed to be "protecting" the forest, because I'm the one invading. Which is fair enough, I guess.

The problem I have is how it's communicated. When you're invaded by a Forest Hunter, the game still announces their presence as a "dark spirit," which makes me think that they're just a regular invader, and not anything special. Someone just told me, though, that there's no special notification for Forest Hunters.

I think that's pretty lazy design, and it could've been communicated a lot better. Still, in the future, I'll try to hold off on indicting Forest Hunters. Or I'll just become one myself, for the time being, at least until I get the Darkmoon Seance Ring.

So, had any of you fucking stupid faggots EVER ONCE TOLD ME about how the Forest Hunter covenant works and how fun it is, I would've rescinded at LEAST 20% of my issues with invasions.

I still think it could've been executed a lot better, but had anyone actually pointed out that there are indeed morally justified methods of invasion (beyond Lautrec) in this game, that could've gone a LONG way.

Okay, so Forest Hunter dark spirits show up as blue. Actual dickhead invader dark spirits show up as red.

No one had the perspicacity to point that out in their "detailed explanation," either.

That being said, the game should only allow you to indict red invaders. So, it's still poorly designed.
