World of Tanks. You can hit a tank in a spot and do massive damage to it but even though the next shot is in the same spot it does nothing. I don't get what people find so fun about that game. The spotting mechanics and the RNG are shit.
Let's just say "death" spells shouldn't be a thing.

When gameplay is based on RNG and not skill, it's no longer a game but a tedious slot machine. An exception is Borderlands, where you can generally be confident that you won't be wanting for new, better, and more funs guns and gear until endgame, where you start to see more raid elements and more of a grind for the best stuff. At that point, having a cheat program is pretty fun.I only recently played through BL2 and BLTPS again, and I don't think I kept the same guns and gear for more than a level or two throughout the entire game. Can't remember what it's like in the first one, but a few pieces of gear / guns aside, I feel like you still change out your stuff very often. Not that this makes it bad in any way though.

when you're drowning in crap for hours and hours, with a rare good find here and there, is where it becomes an annoyance.
Spotting mechanics are fair and balanced.
Quote from: DAS WAIFUMEISTER x2 on August 15, 2015, 09:15:50 AMSpotting mechanics are fair and balanced. It's not fair and balanced when the game atomically does it for you and you're still spotted for a decent amount of time even though you're outside that tanks line of few and away from that spot. Once you're spotted even though I moved out of that zone I'm still spotted for a period of time no matter where I move. Then there's the buillshit where I'm at that tanks maximum distance and I'm only in the open for a second going at a fast speed and I'm still pinpointed. Having the system doing it for you kills any type of ambush and tactile gameplay. The spotting should only be in the players line of site and it should be up to that player to do it them self. That way it allows tactile playing to be done.
Also, get good.
