That was actually intentional; like Bungie did with Destiny's raid's.
Quote from: Mr. Admirals on March 17, 2016, 08:08:00 PMThat was actually intentional; like Bungie did with Destiny's raid's. That just gives even more reason to criticize 343. You understand this, right? Like, a deliberate misstep is actually worse than at least trying to include a feature. It was underused in previous titles, but the lack of local Multiplayer support for Halo 5 makes it a bit more important to give players (especially those with limited friends lists) more of a chance to play Co-Op online. Unless they plan on releasing this further down the track to iron out any kinks, I can't see a reason to axe a feature that was introduced 8 years earlier than Halo 5 itself.
60fps is good thoughBut yeah other than that, deliberately planning releasing an unfinished game doesn't excuse the fact you sold an early access game for full price.

I know fam, that tradeoff was almost fair enough, on top of them reportedly making a reasonable effort to include both features. I was saying without Split Screen, a matchmaking feature becomes more important for Co-Op campaign.

Is it so hard to believe that I would acknowledge such a thing?
Quote from: Mr. Admirals on March 18, 2016, 09:23:05 AMIs it so hard to believe that I would acknowledge such a thing? The way it looks on text one can be forgiven for thinking so, but for me not at all. My cuntiness is more trying to call you out on giving a blanket statement such as "It was intentional," as every time I've seen somebody state that exact phrase in the context of a flaw in a game being pointed out (which is a lot) it invariably comes across as somehow trying to defend the action in question. I encourage elaborating on (your take of) the reasoning behind excluding such a feature and your thoughts on it in future rather than stating whether it was deliberate or not. Otherwise I'm happy to continue dishing excessively venomous callouts on what comes across as blatant shilling.
