Evil Dead

I just finished season 1 of Ash vs Evil Dead, and I loved it. However, I haven't seen any of the films. I was wondering, should I start with Evil Dead 1 or 2? I looked at the summaries and they seem pretty similar, and I'm just looking to watch then for the comedy, and it sounds like Evil Dead 2 is funnier

I just saw the second half of the second one of tv the other day. Didn't really understand why it's considered a comedy but maybe I'd have to watch them from the beginning.

From what I understand Army of Darkness is he one that's really comedic.

All I know about one of the films is he goes back into Medieval times with a sawed off shotgun.

Watch them in order for best effect. Watching the most serious original film first will warm you up for what follows.

Watch them in order. They're all worth the watch.
