I don't think it's that nonsensical. Youtube will soon be employing 10,000 fully paid moderators that do nothing but review reports. To me, that constitutes as a "pretty giant team of people". :p

How do you prove they've actually hired ten thousand people?

Plus even if they did, it doesn't cost much to hire out a building full of Indians and tell them to delete everything with a gun in it, because they are not hiring ten thousand fully paid Americans.

Not really. In fact YouTube was already cracking down on "violent video games" anyway. There was a whole stink when they started demonitizing Destiny 2 footage at random.

So Phillip Defrancos video yesterday featured a gun in the thumbnail, it was about a police shooting not on this youtube incident, but due to there being a gun in the thumbnail the video was censored in the fact where it wasn't shown on users home pages or recommended sections. This video was entirely news related and not about gun assembly or reviewing a gun in anyway.

So yeah, great start.

No. Guns. If YouTube wants to get rid of all forms of gun media, they will move onto video games with shooting next, especially those that are realistic.

The media has blamed violent video games for shootings for years, and if YouTube follows the media's footsteps, its fucked.
