Your Zombie Apocalypse load out

In honor of the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead, I'm asking what you want to carry at the end of the world.

Keep in mind weight, ammo availability, and how practical it is in a diverse range of circumstances.

The zombie apocalypse is what we see on The Walking Dead. Zombies are the rotting shamblers, and people will try to kill you to take your stuff.

I'd probably pop down to the local garden centre and pick up some of the more lethal tools from there. Also might set up shelter in there given that it has plenty of food and metal shutters.

Fire Axe, honestly the most useful weapon with little maintenance.
Handgun, smallest ammo, may be harder to kill but it adds extra protection either way.
Backpack. Simple survival backpack that will hold everything I need.
Contents:
-Water
-Food
-Miscellaneous supplies and tools, light enough to travel with.
Baggy, thick clothing to protect from any scratches or bites. Probably thick sweat shirts and sweats so I can still move in them.
Thick boots, to cover any terrain.
A beanie, to cover any hair pulling, remember that clementine.
Small satchel/fanny pack. To house anything I need on the fly.
-Handgun ammo
-Knife
-firecrackers/throwable noise makers
-flashlight

There ya go. Survival at it's finest.

In terms of availability, I have a replica sword which while not sharp would still do some damage if I were to hit with it, I'd probably head down to the school because it's gated off and pick up a cricket bat (and I think they have a bow and arrow set too).

There is a rifle club but I'm pretty sure people would head there first leading to lower availability (and I don't think there are any great rifles available)

Silenced pistol and machete for main weapons.

A small backpack with water and a small amount of food. Light, non-baggy clothing that you can run in.

For emergencies, a couple sparklers or other fireworks that make a lot of light but not a lot of noise that I can throw. A lighter. And, for the super-duper mega bad emergencies where there might be a horde of zombies about to get me, a carton of grease so that I can do my best Bronson impression and make a break for it through the horde.

I would probably just kill myself at that point. There's no reason to live if my family and loved ones are dead, which they likely are in an apocalypse.

I never understood people's infatuation with this kind of survival fantasy.
