Any opinions on providing your own medical care at home? Any experiences with putting your body back together yourself instead of going to the hospital?

I have a pretty large list of procedures that I've done myself. My mother was a nurse and taught me a lot about taking care of myself.

I've removed glass that was embedded in my foot and healed over, my brother glued my scalp back together, and I've removed my own stitches among other things.

I cut out a lot of ingrown hairs, the little short ones... usually. Same with my ingrown toenails till I got those permanently removed

Never had in ingrown nail but ingrown hairs are the bane of my existence. Stopped shaving my pubes because of it.

Never had in ingrown nail but ingrown hairs are the bane of my existence. Stopped shaving my pubes because of it.

um..
I only get them under my jaw/neck, im guessing because I pluck my facial hair
