Got a 2:2 in Illustration. Not bad, I was honestly expecting worse since I've barely been in this year and my work was a bit rushed towards the end. Quite pleased with that.

Has anyone else recieved their results this week? How did it go?

What did you do?

Electronic Engineering, but I was sick during the semester 1 exams. And our course is so shitly designed anyway, we're doing so many modules where we're the first year doing them and even the head of the department said some of the new modules were too hard.
Put it this way, I know of one person who didn't fail the year and I think everyone else did.

First: 70+% (top grade)
Two-One: 60% - 70%
Two-Two: 50% - 60%
Third: 40% - 50%

Anything below 40% is a fail. Weird system, I know. Not sure why it's like that.

50% still seems like a strange threshold for passing though.
Like if you're a waiter, and you only get half your orders right, or your a lawyer and only win half your cases, that's pretty bad

50% isn't considered good, it's basically just passing.

Pass grades sometimes vary in different courses here, I know computer science students who claim that their pass grade is 51%, but their professor has never given a mark higher than 67%

Lol, and the Europoort say the the US has it too easy.

Anything under 70% is failure.
