Would You Support Unsticking the "Art Thread"?

Since people expressed their views that the Art Thread should come down in the Music Poll thread, we're running a second, separate poll, to gauge interest on that movement.

Same poll options as last time, so feel free to vote and also give your comments as to why you feel it should stay up/go down. Thanks

I think that both threads should be stickied, along with a couple of others, if we get stickied threads along the side of the page like B.Old.

Otherwise, I think leaving that space for informative threads is the best option for now.

Both the Music and Art threads (If the Art one is unstickied) would be placed in Isara's "Flood Reads" threads.

There has been talk of potentially having pinned threads on the side akin to B.old, but that wouldn't be for a while.

I'm aware of that plan, which is why I said it.
And sure, placing them in the Forum Read is a good idea, just as long as unneeded threads don't clog up the place for forum information.

That should be the goal though, to have as few possible pinned thread.

Not exactly. It's perfectly possible to have absolutely no designated pinned threads for art/music/personal pictures etc. etc. but not everyone agrees with that. Some people like having those types of threads pinned and, at least for them, the goal isn't having as few pinned threads as possible as that would eliminate those pinned threads.

Personally, I don't care so long as designated threads are easily accessible and it is clear where to access them so they aren't neglected.

Well if you use Isara's thread then you only have to make two clicks to find the Art/Music thread, which is almost as good as the one click you'd need if it were pinned. It's at least better than having to search for it or scroll through the pages of threads.

But that also opens the door for spamming of those threads.

Personally, I do not like creating threads for my artwork alone. If such was the case, where everyone just made their own threads, I'd likely not show anything of mine hardly ever unless asked to.

Is this seriously happening? The music thread at least got one post a day, but the art thread barely gets a post a week. And you faggots would so much rather have the art thread pinned than the music one? I cannot understand this broken logic.

Sure people posted in the music thread but I doubt anyone went through that thread to find music.

The fact that it's so close (unlike the music thread) gives me the impression that it should probably just be left alone.

Since it is so close, this will stay open until the very end. We'll decide then - the "unstick" has taken a slightly larger lead.
