I'm not going to state anything specific like you earn 1.5x more at higher paying job, but you do not enjoy the high paying job. You do enjoy the low paying job, and look forward to going back to work everyday.

with the money I earn I will be able to do things I like in my own time.

For me enjoying a job is more of a plus than anything else.

If I really, really enjoyed the job, I'd settle for living on the lower pay.

I could've been an aerospace engineer and be working for Boeing or something with my degree, making twice, or even 3 times as much as I do now, but I realized that I love cars more and took up racing with my knowledge. what you're basically asking me is if I would change my mind if I had the power to do so, and the answer is never.
