I wonder why I’m a human being and not like, a cell of a human being or an animal. I wonder how consciousness forms and how we become self aware. Isn’t that just incredible, how we can perceive and contemplate things on an abstract level? I wonder what it would take for human beings to create an artificial intelligence that could perceive it’s own existence like a human. Like, how did I go billions of years without being conscious, then form this body? If it happened once, then does that mean there’s the possibility it could happen again after I die? I couldn't imagine what it would take for a robot to be able to experience consciousness like a human could, I would be fascinated to know the science behind that.
