AotC was great, you faggots.
Yeah, Padmé looking at framed gifs and frolicking in dandelion fields with Anakin in was a great movie.

Only good parts were the Battle of Geonosis and the end of Kamino.
And the scene where Anakin finds his mother, where his start of darkness takes place.
That scene was good, I forgot about that. Kind of like 50% of the movie.

Hayden did the best he could with the script, but he still has some bad instances of acting in Episode II.

Great, this thread turned into NERDS arguing. You know what's great?

KOTOR. Great universe and stuff. I need to finish the 2nd one.

KOTOR 2 has a great story, you'll won't be disappointed, also I would recommend you pick it up on steam (It has everything updated, also i believe it has the cut content in the game)
I'm super late since I had to do stuff, but really? I already have it. Screw it, I'll download it now and give it a run before bed.

Good acting plagued by cheesy dialogue. But cheesy dialogue is all over the original trilogy.

Hoth, Asteroid Field, Dagobah, Cloud City. I even remember the in-between scenes with Vader on the Star Destroyer and coming out of his meditation chamber.

I remember those scenes because something happened in them. Granted, it's odd that I forgot about the scene with Anakin's mother, but most of Episode II is slice-of-life shit, crawling through ducts, or a chase scene that went on for WAAAAAY too long.

ROTS is good despite its cheesy dialogue. It's one of the best paced movies in the series, and a lot of HABBENINGS happen.

Not canon. :^)
I beleive non canon stuff was just post episode 6 so they could let the writers work without restrictions. Thank god too, because almost all the EU post episode 6 was convoluted garbage.

Daily reminder that the clones were forced against their will to obey Order 66 and are victims of Palpatine equally as much as the Jedi.
I liked it more when they were well aware it was coming. For example in Battlefront 2's campaign, the narrator of the 501st was saying how none of the troops could look the Jedi in the eye celebrating a victory with them cheerfully, because they knew what was coming.

I felt it added a lot more weight to it. Though I like to think it was a mixture of both in my own little head.

Of course, but some of the dialogue in the prequels isn't just "Cheesy." It's... Just... Bizarre.

"I hate sand..."
"No, it's because I'm so in love with you!"
"If you're not with me... Then you're my enemy!"
"The negotiations were short!"

Things happened in AotC as well, though?... I could probably explain the entire plot right now if I were so inclined.

All I can think of when it comes to Empire is that boring-ass fucking Hoth battle that I feel the urge to skip every time I watch it, and "im ur father."

The only legitimate criticism for AotC that there is, really, is the terrible romance that consumed the plot.

It sadly consumed 80% of the plot in a movie that was supposed to be about this massive war. Yet we only get like a total of 5 minutes of any real clone battles.

It's so sad.

I don't remember that part of Battlefront, Order 66 was a contingency plan, it was never something that the Clones knew was going to happen, even in the old canon.

I view the inhibitor chips as way more of a reason to despise Palpatine and the Empire, and feel much more sympathy for the people that it affected. I think having the Clones be forced to do it victimizes them just as bad as the Jedi, and it adds a whole other level of tragedy to Order 66, because you've now stripped billions of soldiers of their personalities and turned them into zombies for the Empire.

Nope

let me dream

KOTOR is so far back that regardless of what happened, it in no way effects any of the movies.

The sand line is really really not that bad. I don't see why people make fun of it so much.

The "so in love with you" line is pretty bad, I'll give you that.

What the hell is wrong with the last two lines?

It's in one of the cutscenes, but I can't be asked to find it.

Still, I just like the mixture I guess.

The chase scene on Corusant went on for like, 15 minutes longer than it should have. A mixture of mediocre CGI and terrible pacing make it hard to remember anything significant that happened outside of anything related to the Clones (because that was the only important part other than Anakin's massacre that wasn't a butchered mess).

I always felt that Ewoks taking out fully fledged fighting machine imperials was akin to child fantasy. It was insanely stupid and unrealistic. Someone said it was supposed to be Wookies, which would have been much better.

Oh well, at least I can take solace in the fact that the death star blowing up = that whole planet fucked

Because the phrase is, "If you're not with me, you're against me." But while writing the scene, I felt like Lucas wrote it down and said, "Hmm, no, this is too generic. Let me substitute a different set of words that mean the same thing to be more original!" But it just came out as awkward and forced. It'd be like me saying "A piece of fruit a day keeps the doctor away!"

The negotiations line is more so a delivery issue, honestly. Just his face and the way that Qui-Gon looks back at him is just... Strange...

GL's main stake was in the family audience. After ESB, he needed to tie it up in a way that wasn't PG-13 while simultaneously selling a buttload of merchandise.

The chase scene was only ten minutes and was divided into two distinct sections--let's not be silly here. You don't have to like the scene, but it wasn't too long.

How does CGI affect your ability to remember shit? It wasn't even that bad, certainly not "mediocre"...

And I didn't really think the pacing was bad, either. I dunno.

But Luci.

Star Wars is a child fantasy.
