Worst music genres

And by "worst" I obviously mean your least favorite.

- Metalcore (probably my #1)
- Death metal
- Bluegrass
- Country pop
- Christian rock

Dishonorable mentions go out to nu-metal and glam metal (even though I still have a soft spot for some artists in those genres).

Try not to blanket entire genres. Narrow it down to a subgenre.
Otherwise, we're just gonna see five things: country, hip hop, screamo, dubstep, and mainstream pop.

Because I loathe it. I loathe that vocal style, I loathe the common themes expressed, and there's just nothing redeeming about it whatsoever. It's just edgy tryhard garbage. From what I've heard, at least. And I've heard a fair share.

I'm not the biggest fan of Death Metal/Metalcore/Deathcore, but I wouldn't say I loathe it. My dislike of specific genres isn't that strong.

Instead I'll say that music that does not have a clear rhythm is just a bunch of noise to me and I don't listen to it.

I guess I hate screamo, but that's just me.

I love most energetic music, but a lot of it just seems like raw, unfocused rage. I'll admit I haven't explored the genre a lot, but just the overarching nature of that style of music really doesn't appeal to me.
