Game of Thrones is cancer
I need to go back and read the books...

She forgot Moat Cailin and Ramsay Bolton and his little piece of skin, forgot the kingsmoot, forgot her failure, forgot her exile and her enemies and her husband. Only his hands mattered, only his mouth, only his arms around her, his cock inside her. He fucked her till she screamed, and then again until she wept, before he finally spent his seed inside her womb.
spent his seed inside her womb.
Can someone please explain to me why people take Verb seriously and let him derail every thread with low quality bait?

Shoving your shitty opinions down people's throats
This term is so cringe-inducingly over-used.
Why is it considered throat-shoving when I express a negative opinion of a show you like, but it's not considered throat-shoving when you express a positive opinion of a show I don't like? Cool double standards, bro.
You posted in this thread four times before anyone responded to you. It's not like you bring some interesting perspective regarding the series you've never read. You could have just made one post like you usually do saying how Game of Thrones sucks but it's painfully obvious you just wanted to cause conflict. And then you constantly call other things "cringy".
Anyways, we're like four months away from season 6 with GRRM not even mentioning anything about a release date, so I don't take this as much of a surprise.

Nvm read the thread
That being said, yes his sexual scenes are poor (I believe he admitted he can't write them well), but he doesn't include sex or any of that stuff for the shots and giggles, only if it's useful in his plots. Trion has sex with Shae because he feels empty, and she fills that hole in his heart, though she is a whore and obviously pleases him just for status and Lannister gold. His later alleged (by fans) rape of an Essosi prostitute is just another way to show his downward spiral during his period of absolute loss, self-loathing and his disconnect from the world.
The GoT show just uses it more often because it isn't held back by George's plot limitations, and is mainly used just because it can.

What's really going to piss me off is when it starts to spoil who survives and who doesn't in a shitty, simplified way.

I'm currently not expecting him to die in the Battle of Winterfell but I can't imagine he'll have a key role in the last book. I kind of think the characters they decided to kill off in season 5 were characters that they didn't know where to go with for the show. I mean they cut Aegon and he is obviously going to have a huge role in TWOW so it's hard to say what level of accuracy the show can be held to at this point. I'm more so talking about the A-list characters like Jaime or Arya. If one of them dies, then they surely die in the books.
Quote from: Maverick on January 03, 2016, 10:20:39 AMCan someone please explain to me why people take Verb seriously and let him derail every thread with low quality bait? There wasn't much discussion to begin with. The thread is about a book being late so you're not going to have much to talk about. Also the thread really isn't derailed when we're talking about the books in a thread that's about one of the books.
