well, the performances are generally better, and even if they weren't, it just seems "right" to experience foreign media in the language that it was created in—for me, it just makes the experience more authentic

i get it though, having to read subtitles can be a pain in the ass—i used to hate it

It doesn’t really help that most VA’s for anime dubs put on the most obnoxious, forced or edgelord voices they can for no reason. Eren from the AoT dub comes to mind considering he sounds like he’s squeezing out a shit every time his dialogue comes around

I have been on this site since the first year it was made (I think) and I have to say, watching your life progress the way it has has been quite an experience. It gives me lots of insight into the...interesting...and unique people I sometimes see out in the city and wonder about.
