really though, i think atheists are somewhat burdened by the "knowledge" that there is no afterlife. one would think that realizing that we're all there is would prompt you to live life to the fullest, but i suppose many atheists are content to just suffer lifelong existential crises.

we're probably all wrong in some small way. assuming that atheism is an absolute truth is just as silly as assuming that the holy spirit wrote the bible with ink and a quill. the reality is that existential truth is entirely unknowable; pretending to understand it is foolish.
