Depends on what I want to do with the eggs

They don't need to be because they don't wash them at the farm, thus leaving a protective coating on the eggshell protecting it from bacteria and things like salmonella developing.
The trade off is that there might be poop on your eggshell because chickens only have one opening.

God no. There's no point as they last however long their shelf life is without needing to fridge em. It's just a waste of space and energy to have em cool when they come out of a warm chicken's arse in the first place.
