Like, seriously, it's just another word for "bro", or "friend". People on this forum always tell me "well go say that to a black guy and see what happens l0L", but I always say that word to my black friends, and they say it back to me. Pretty much everyone at my school uses it to each other, and no one except for white adults has a problem with it. Even the black teachers at my school don't give a fuck when someone uses it.

This has led me to believe that people on this forum, and stingy white people in general, are trying to "protect" black people by getting butthurt over that word, when most blacks don't even care. Now that's racism in and of itself.

I don't use it at all. Some are offended by it some aren't, I just don't use it all because there really is no point.

2 centuries ago? What rock do you live under? Segregation was around until fairly recently, and you still have extremely racist people today who say that word.

I only meant slavery. Of course there was still the South African Apartheid in the 80's (and obviously it had been bubbling away for decades before), and plenty of racism today, but certainly a lot less where in the 18th century a black man would be considered a product or a workhorse rather than a person in most developed countries.
